Many of us have read about the recent Facebook Ban on placing adds for Cryptocurriecies with the claim to weed out the bad ones, however most of us know that this move did not come with good intentions since the news came at a time Cryptocurrencies are struggling to gain their balance. This for many analysist is targeted to increase the Fud and deepen the market which has seen so many bloody days already
In an article published by Evelyn Cheng of CNBC captioned "Facebook ban on bitcoin ads is the latest in a very bad day for cryptocurrencies"
A slew of negative reports hit the cryptocurrency world Tuesday.
Facebook announced a ban on advertisements for "binary options, initial coin offerings and cryptocurrency." The blanket decision is part of the social media giant's efforts to prohibit ads for financial products and services "that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices."
The news followed a Bloomberg report, citing a source, that on Dec. 6 the U.S. Commodity Futures and Trading Commission subpoenaed Bitfinex, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, and a digital coin company called Tether that is run by many of the same people as the exchange. The CFTC and a representative for the companies did not immediately respond to a CNBC request for comment.

From the above news, its obvious that there is a calculated plan to surpress the growth of Cryptocurrencies by Government and their long time ally, a centralized entity like Fecebook but will they deter our minds and cause us to drop our efforts in steemit or acquiring more steem power? The answer is no! because of the points below
*BTC and other decentralized altcoins had experienced worst periods and always come out stronger because of strong community support all over the world and growing especially in 3rd world countries of Africa and Asia. As such, government and their long time ally Facebook which is a capitalist entity in the USA cannot hinder the growth of a decentralized business entity.
- Blessing in disguise. Steemit has changed many lives already especially in developing countries ( This blogger inclusive) and many steemians are hoping to buy up steem which is a bit cheaper and power up so this is an opportunity to buy a valuable token.
-Investors confidence- Thanks to Weiss report as posted by @kenhudoy (Why Steem & EOS leads the Crypto world with top Weiss Rating) many investors have better confidence in most major cryptocurrencies like Steem, EOS, Ethereum etc with highest "B" rating as such, fake news broadcasters and Fuders cannot claim that our dear Steem or btc, eos , ether is scam. So the confidence is there already as seeing in the huge trading volumes on daily basis.
So, join me and other dedicated steemians to keep sharing the good news about steemit & cryptocurrency to all corners of the world so together, we as a dedicated community of steemians will take over the number one spot from Facebook, Instgram et all and create a better world for everyone. Cryptocurrencies are the only way to have a democracy in form of means of payment, because the banks already control the older currencies such as dollars or euros. Taking this refuge opportunity will meet with a lot of resistance.

I also believe that Steemit will be as big if not bigger the Facebook within a few years! I am100% behind Steemit an all they stand for!
I am excited to see that most people are missing out and when Steem hits 100 dollars a coin... people will not be able to power up as fast for us who got in early, get 100's of Steen for less than 30 dollars. Steem is the only cryptocurrency that has such a mass following in which the coin is beingactifly used. Used on one of the biggest social interaction plateforms... Steam will be BIG BIG BIG!!
