A lot of us have heard of his furniture.
I just found out recently that he has some really great quotes.
Here is one for today.
"Only those who are asleep make no mistakes."
That's a pretty true one, huh?
The truth is everyone makes mistakes.
Each and every one of us messes up from time to time.
There is no reason to fear mistakes.
Being afraid of making mistakes will often keep us from reaching out potential.
Source
We can all to easily dwell in the what if's of life and not start the things we want to or should start.
Usually we will get an impulse to start something then all the what if's will come in.
I can tell you that our gut will not steer us wrong but our mind often does.
Mistakes are an every day part of life and should simply be accepted as that.
The key is to learn from each one and move on.
When we learn from them we can move on, correcting what could have been a mistake each time as we go, one step at a time.
Source
If you feel like you make more mistakes than others, great!
That just means you are being taught more lessons.
If you are paying attention to what those lessons are you will learn far more than the people that are not making so many mistakes.
Also, often when we feel like we make more mistakes than others we really aren't.
A lot of times we are simply not seeing the mistakes that they are making because they are in a different scenario.
Maybe they are happening at home or just somewhere out of your view.
Whatever the case, we should all remember that mistakes are quite normal.
They are an essential part of the learning process.

Without making mistakes often and learning from them, we would go a long time then make a huge mistake we may not recover from.
You see, the mistakes we make all the time are teaching us small things that often get taken for granted.
Those small things all add up when there is a large issue and allow us to surpass that issue with ease and grace.
So, don't go looking to make mistakes, but be very grateful for them as they do come.
Because each time you are gaining another tool for your belt.
Remember,
"Only those who are asleep make no mistakes."

Just one of the reasons why the rich keep getting richer. They make mistakes over and over again. And this builds them up but the poor fear mistake or failure and so they remain poor. As a matter of fact a baby doesn't just start to walk, he stands and fall several times before he finally starts working. Inspiring words David and i like it!
Babies fall all the time, clumsy kids lol. We aren't walking when we are born. it takes a lot of mistakes to get there.
Datz right bro.
Totally agree @michealdavid, ''Only those who are asleep make no mistakes''. Wise words!

I love reading about successful people who used their mistakes to build on to create an even better business. Unfortunately most of us wants to be perfect try to avoid mistakes and with this we restrict ourselves from developing new habits, ideas and solutions.
Thanks for sharing.
Upvoted, also I followed you, could you follow me back?
It's true that most will try to avoid mistakes. Mistakes take time but if we pay attention the time is worth it.
The only mistakes that matter are the ones you repeat
I think I made that up but I probably read it and it has stuck in my subconscious. Totally agree though. As long as you learn from them you are laughing!
Well, if it was you or from a book somewhere it is a great quote indeed. I love it!
It is rather good. It always resonated with me!
Definitely a great one.

I make more mistakes than most people. Thank you for the motivation
Then you are learning more then most :)
as you say making mistakes is not a bad thing, not learning from them and doing it more than once is the bad thing
PS as an Aside I meet one of his sons at a inlaws wedding in Mallorca a few years back
Wow, that must have been a cool encounter. I was only recently made aware of him.

When I make a colossal mistake--which I definitely do every now and then--I tell myself that millions of people across the globe don't care. . .
and only one American does.
