I agree your childhood experiences definitely play a roll in your imagination as an adult. However, I dont think being spoiled as a kid gets ur farther along in life, i actually think its quite the opposite.
As a child we were rather poor, my imagination made it so i could be as rich as i wanted.. a stick was a gun or a sword, a cardboard box was a race car or tank! when u are rich u get the toys you want, no imagination required. But as a kid with nothing, all you have is ur imagination! Unfortunately you have to practice using that imagination as an adult, and thats where most of us fail miserably.. :/

I love this reply. I do agree and very much want to agree. I wasn't just talking about financial upbringing ,though, but about emotional upbringing.

Ohh, sorry i read that wrong.... yeah, i was very blessed to have great parents. I guess its easy to forget not everyone was as lucky in that department as me..
