A couple of times per week I like to dig into some inspirational quotes to get me motivated when dealing with the ups and downs of life. These ones resonated for me today:
"The only passion that guides me is for the truth... I look at everything from this point of view."- Che Guevara
"As to methods, there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods."- Ralph Waldo Emerson
"You must do the things you think you cannot do."- Eleanor Roosevelt
"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."- Malcolm X
"Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man."- Benjamin Franklin
Committing to this twice a week is a really good practise. It's always good to feed your soul, motivate yourself and inspire others. Great share!
Same page. Mahalo for the support.
These are awesome!! Thanks for sharing!
Big thanks! I think in the future I will pick a theme of some sort instead of the more random quotes but always fun to find stuff. I also have enjoyed seeing photos of these folks; sometimes they the words live on but the images get lost to history. Much appreciated. Aloha.
I was doing a series of "Daily Art Quotes" - back when I was working on the bear sculpture at the Bear Hotel. But, it was really hard to keep it going every day. Maybe I'll get back into it again. I was learning a LOT of stuff by doing it because I posted the quote (which was always art related) and then I posted artwork by the person who wrote the quote.
It's super weird to me to get replies from people I actually know. I've felt like I have been on an island on this platform for so long haha! Yeah it's been fun. In a lot of ways these people and quotes and things I am writing have been stuck in my head for a very long time. It's nice to be able to get this all out, then begin the exploration for more cool people and words to keep things moving. Thanks dear for commenting!
