“Those who mistrust their own abilities are being too wicked to themselves, discouraging themselves from doing what they should have been excelling in. If you are good at discouraging yourself, you can't be a good leader because leadership is built on inspiring others to face challenges.”

MY SHORT STORY
I could remember back then in primary school, when I actually felt bad because people mocked my handwriting . Although it wasn’t so beautiful, but I can read it freely with no errors. But due to low self esteem, the more people made jest of my writing the more I felt inferior .
They were proud of theirs, but I wasn’t, I lacked self esteem. As they continued to make a jest of me, I decided to change my writing, I started imitating my daddy’s writing, yea I was copying my dad’s writing because as a lecturer which he was I love d the way he flows while writing (he writes fast and clearly). I started wishing to be like my dad. That’s the worst mistake people do, we tend to forget that we are the best of our kind, we are unique and can’t compare ourselves with others.
I kept on trying to copy my dad’s writing but instead of getting better I notice that am just getting worse, I couldn’t retain my initial writing and I couldn’t write like my dad, I was caught up in the middle messed up.
It now dawned to me what inferiority complex has done to me

It is true we all are made in the IMAGE OF GOD, but we are also unique in our own ways,
- don’t let others intimidate who you,
- stand up for your self,
- be confident in yourself and shine forth your star so bright
- TRYING TO BE LIKE OTHERS MAKES YOU LOOSE YOUR OWN VALUES
- Serve the world in that unique way God created you to.
The worst was that even some of those that made a mockery of me, my writing was better than theirs. But i was ignorantly blind to see that.
Interesting
