The pattern is 9 x 10 = 90, 8 x 9 = 72, 7 x 8 = 56, 6 x 7 = 42. From this pattern you can assume that the number to be multiplied is one more than the given number. So if you are given 3, to find the number to multiply it by would be one more than 3. So the answer is 3 x 4 = 12

Sorry, I can't understand. Give it to me in numbers.

Just got the translation. You are looking for the relationship between the first number and the second number. For example, in the first line 9 = 90, the relationship is 10 because 9 x 10 = 90. Now you need to find the pattern. So look at the second line 8 = 72. First find the relationship, which comes out to be 9. Now to find the pattern find what is similar between the first relationship and the second relationship. In the first relationship we multiplied the 9 by a number that is one more than 9 (9 + 1 = 10). In the second relationship we multiplied the 8 by a number that is one more than 8 (8 + 1 = 9). So we found the pattern. Now all that's left is to apply that pattern to the last line. 3 times a number that is one more than 3 (3 + 1 = 4). Or 3 x 4 = 12. Hope that helps.

Good answer, I think. I assume x is the number in the left column.
