American physicist, Michio Kaku, wrote in the book idea in the future, we are found on the forefront of the new technology: "we explore planets and stars, we will go further, it will eventually let us contact with alien life happen in the fourth class."
According to Michio Kaku, and every five stars in the galaxy, there is a terrestrial planet, this means that our own Milky Way galaxy, there are more than 20 billion much like earth, or is the same with the earth geographical environment of the planet. While there are other conditions that need to be met to create life, others are "to see life" (for example, the surroundings of a celestial body can't be too dangerous, and a comet can be hit by a comet at all times). Currently, the SETI institute is using 42 high-powered telescopes to scan a million stars in the hope of seeing aliens' homes.
The SETI institute believes that we humans can find alien ET homes by 2035 and get in touch with them. But what does ET look like? To answer this question, astrobiology experts are doing a variety of experiments every day, mainly studying how to create life and normal life in different ecosystems.
According to their research, alien intelligent life will have three necessary characteristics:
1. Aliens have stereoscopic vision like humans.
It allows the eye to compare images and judge distances, which is a necessary feature for predators to track their prey.
This is very likely because you want to develop into intelligent life, which means you are the king of the top of the food chain. But it's not that these aliens are very aggressive, just that their ancestors may have been hunting in the same way that we did.
2.Aliens will have a thumb like ours.
It is necessary to create and use tools, and humans evolved into intelligent life because they began to make tools.
3.They also need to have language.
In order to deliver and accumulate important information for generations, some form of language is essential.
In addition, many alien civilization should exist in, covered with ice planet like Jupiter's moon Europa and Enceladus, the life of the planet will completely survival lies in the underwater at the beginning, then these aquatic species are likely to evolve into intelligent life? Take the earth for example, have stereo vision, can grab a tool, still exist underwater, do not meet these three conditions of life? Yes, that's the octopus that has lived on earth for more than 100 million years.
The only pity is that the octopus hasn't developed a language yet, but that's not entirely impossible. Maybe on some distant planet, there is a life like an octopus, and suddenly one day the ability to speak is developed, and then they will be king. Remember the movie "coming"? If you look inside these aliens, is it like an octopus?
So, be wary of the octopus around you, and maybe they will go to great evolution!
