I've been an internet user for as long as i can remember, I always browse and play and click on things that "aren't trusted" because i know best, right? WRONG. Starting this year (2017) i really started getting into computer science and safety (which includes online safety and ethical hacking). Little did i know how easy network penetrating and infiltrating someones personal information is, so i thought let's do a little post to give readers the ol' heads up on how to stay safe.
So first things first, be that suspicious person ! I know for sure that I'm safe when I'm always alert and suspicious, yes I'm even that guy with the piece of black electrical tape on his webcam. I do this because i know how easy it is to infiltrate someone's computer. A simple piece of code masked as a chrome update that looks like something you click on every day, could ruin your whole life. Once the malicious software is in your computer your hacker will have control of your entire pc, log all the keys you type in (including email and passwords for bank accounts, paypal etc.) and stream and record whatever is visible to your webcam. All without you even knowing, and when you do eventually find out it will be too late, rather stay safe from the beginning.
In future on this blog i will be going through ways and techniques in detail to assure your internet safety so be sure to follow for more! If you're one of those more passionate and interested fellas/lassies go visit www.udemy.com they offer great courses on ethical hacking and internet safety and the courses are mostly $10 US.
Thank you very much for the visit and remember to do your best to always stay safe and ALWAYS BE ALERT
