The Internet

The internet became the main tool for meeting with other people and, let's just form it that way, the vast majority of online people represent such poor quality as human beings.
And it kinda seems to be becoming meta now, not only with relationships that seem to be a huge chunk of it (and my bitchless ass absolutely hates it) but with everything in general.
I'm one of the lucky boomers that has a shitton of naturally acquired friends, but if I were to redo my life from this point, I think I'd rather become a monk than look for friends on Reddit.
I used to connect to people really well, but now I have to make an effort. But it's crazy how zoomers are so often always like that since childhood. I at least had a good moment where I wasn't too awkward, but now it's like harder, idk.
People born after like 2004 are sort of fucked.

I hate the social media algorithm and how it just feeds me what it thinks I like, which made me reliant on it instead of developing a deeper familiarity with what I like, letting me find it myself by sifting through shit.
It's like a wild animal being pampered by humans, which makes them unsuitable to live in the wild.
