It's shocking, shocking, I tell you! Apparently, and I'm just learning this from some breaking news headlines so bear with me, but apparently Facebook has not been on the up and up when it comes to protecting their users' privacy. Incredible, I know. I mean, these are still early reports so we'll have to wait and see, but...
...OK. Enough sarcasm. But you probably have seen the headlines by now.
Facebook scans the photos and links you send on Messenger
and
Zuckerberg says most Facebook users should assume they have had their public info scraped
and
Australia launches investigation into Facebook over data scandal
and
Facebook Decides Now's Not a Great Time to Harvest Patients' Medical Data
And on and on and on. Yes, it seems even the normies are now finally aware of what we have known for years: Facebook is not so much a social media platform so much as it is a giant data vacuum sucking up your personal details for fun and profit (and social engineering and political control).
But rather than mocking the MSM addicts who are just getting the news, why don't we do something even more productive. Why don't we inform them about the bigger picture? With facts to back it up, even!
Like a link to the now-infamous IM exchange that Zuckerberg shortly after launching Facebook, in which he bragged that “I have over 4000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS. People just submitted it. I don’t know why. They ‘trust me.’ Dumb fucks.”
Or a link to the story of how Zuckerberg hacked into his rivals' email accounts using data he obtained from Facebook's server logs?
Or a link to a report about the hot mic that caught Zuckerberg promising German Chancellor Angela Merkel that he was working on the "problem" of political wrongthink on Facebook?
But then we run the risk of misleading our poor, information-starved mainstream friend into thinking that this whole steal-your-data problem starts and ends with Facebook and Zuckerberg.
So we'll also have to point out Google's own repeated violations and abuses of users’ privacy, and how, despite all the creepiness emanating from Facebook these days, Google still manages to find ways of being way creepier in its privacy invasions. (Can anyone really doubt that Google knows more about you than you know about yourself at this point?)
And then, of course, we could start outlining the real history of Silicon Valley for our puzzled friend. You know, the history of how all the major tech firms of the last half-century have been associated in one way or another with the military-industrial complex, including Oracle and Mitre and, of course, Google, with its now long-admitted relationship with the NSA. And let's not forget Facebook, with its ties to In-Q-Tel, the CIA's venture capital arm.
Heck, you could even throw some "fun" information at your MSM-addled compatriot. Like how the Pokémon Go app that briefly turned everyone into real-life zombies last year had its own ties back to the Criminals In Action gang.
Do you think that's enough info to throw at one person in one sitting? Because we could go on, of course. And on and on. (And on.) But let's not overload them with information. Baby steps.
But maybe, just maybe, the next time you want to tell your pal about how the CIA wants to spy on you through your dishwasher they might actually look at the link instead of laughing you off as a kook.

yes, the government admits to the world that it will spy on you through your appliances, then the same government throught its mockingbird media and pundits laugh and sneer and call you a conspiracy theorist for simply repeating their own words back at them.

I think this carrot will be just enough to lead some of the normies I know right on down that rabbit hole. If we just take advantage of each time another one of these confirmation tales hits the mainstream news cycle, confirming what we know & others think are conspiracy theories, by pushing short sweet fact-filled articles like this one, we may capitalize in the best way, shake 'em & wake 'em! Our slumbering brothers & sister are just like many of us were some years ago. Most of us had that one carrot, that one fact, which sent us down that rabbit hole & you'll never know which fact is going to have that effect on whom. So keep on throwing those carrots out & be ready for you sleepy-eyed friends & family when they come back woke & looking for more TRUTH.

During this present time, I also like to use the Sinclair Script video to highlight the surreal and strange behavior that the media uses. It's all mass mind control through the radiowaves, mix that with some head nodding, hand gestures, and false sincerity and ya got yourself a big ol'glass of Hypnosis KoolAid.
Oh, don't forget the red/blue color science that they employ as well. If they want to get people angry and in left brain aggression mode, the ticker line and backdrop will be red.
If it's a passive "story" like traffic, weather, entertainment, etc, it is almost always blue.
Same goes for the emergency vehicle lights on cars and ambulances. When they alternate the red and blue spinners, it really scrambles the mind from thinking clearly

I lasted about 5 minutes, watching Zuckernutz "on the stand" and then felt my brains leaking from my head. This is a modern day play about a sacrificial lamb and just look at his big Doe-eyes...

I haven't watched MSM on an actual time slotted "show" since around 9/11. I just wait till the clips get shredded on YouTube to get my laughs. If you want to get a good innerstanding of what's happening, just watch the alternative media. There are quite a few solid journalists that are knowledgeable in geopolitics and aren't polarized by the imbalanced Left/Right paradigm. Lol...There isn't a red vs. blue team... It's a government owned by elitists vs. the regular everyday folk, thing.

You switched off a little earlier than me. Always known something wasn't right but it took the Syrian migration crisis for me to see the real picture. Blew my mind when I started to wake up. No going back now though.

Personally i don't like facebook. They have many accounts but most of them are fake accounts and multiple accounts. No privacy, totally fakebook. Steemit is the best social platform no doubt.

The problem is the mainstream zombies are only listen for 2-3 days then they forget it and are hype for the next IPhone release or something like that.
I've never had a Facebook account, and I don't carry a cell phone either. I used to work as a series 7 registered rep for years on call 24/7 with my Motorola Analog Cell phone back before 2000. I hated that leash around my neck. I've never stood in the herd as one of "them", and never will.
I prefer spending my time at the farm where there's no broadband internet available, and no cell service. Neither do I own a TV or landline telephone. My stereo is a McIntosh vacuum tube amp built in 1966 so I guess they ain't a gonna' spy on me through that. Still there's a half dozen pure white military planes spraying aluminum aerosols into the stratosphere overhead every damn day. God damn the cult of statism. I hate them and their Luciferian Globalist Agenda. Now they're dimming the sun wanna take away any freedom solar panels might have enabled. They'd be wise to consider the wisdom of a Greg Keelor lyric:
"Behind that locked door, the sleeping dog you beat. I hope I see the day, she satisfies her teeth."
Freedom is gonna rain down on all of us one of these days, and like Heliogabalus dragged through the open sewers, vengeance will be an act of justice. People are ready for justice.

I thought social media was stupid when it started , and I just joined at the urging of my kids . But if I find that Facebook has violated me or my children’s privacy I’m going to look to sue them out of existence .
We definitely need more sarcasm. If we don't laugh, what else can we do?
If only they would. It blows my mind that people, that have so little to no knowledge about a topic, have such strong opinions. But, we can't blame them, we have all been victims of programming and brainwashing at one point or another. We all woke up. It doesn't make it okay to not take responsibility and no do your own research but I've found, like you've (Corbett) have pointed out many times, that a better approach is to not blame them for their victimhood. And they are clearly victims due to the unbearable amount of data to show that we are, in fact, not looks.
