Internet crossed another mark in its development. Distant 25 years ago, August 6, 1991, the first website was launched. Its author was Tim Berners-Lee, and provided a description of World Wide Web project on the first Web page in the world. The public launch took place only on 23 August, this date marked the start and spread of public Internet. The next major step in the development of technology has been the emergence of the first Mosaic web browser in 1993.Berners-Lee's approach was an attempt to make the Internet a platform for academic cooperation, rather than a revolution. However, without a doubt, 1991 served as the start of a fundamental shift in the field of communications.

Internet was exactly 25 years . More than twenty years ago, Tim Berners - Lee launched the first web - site , which operates to this day . At that time the page with the description of World Wide Web (WWW) project. Nevertheless, the day of the public launch of the network is considered to be August 23 , as it was on this day in 1991, it took the start dissemination of public access to the Internet. Two years later, in 1993, he was released a web browser Mosaic, which allows you to navigate the Internet and browse the web, which at that time was only a few hundred. Launching a large-scale network WWW will serve as the basis for further development of the entire industry computer as the current iPhone, iPad, iPad, Mac, and all other devices are highly dependent on access to the Internet, without which they can not even activate.

The Internet is commonly referred to as the 2nd Industrial Revolution. In other news, on July 4, 2016 the 3rd Industrial Revolution began when @ned and @dan introduced a blockchain revolution to social media called Steemit.

Good post @gdsprgdd, and Power Up for the next 25 years fellow Steemians!

Many thanks !

Terrific article. I can't believe it's already 25 years since the Internet was born. Boy how it has accelerated everything, especially school. Without the internet I wouldn't be able to obtain my bachelors degree as I'm working on now. Cheers to technology 😀
