It's very real, and people get fined for far less things. Just try criticizing your local politician on facebook to your friends, there have already been cases in several countries where people were prosecuted for that.

Wow, it's scary! But it kind of wants to make me test it... However, I live in Portugal and the Portuguese are quite lazy, I wonder if they will notice anything.. I am curious if any incidents happened in my home country the Netherlands, which is so proud of their openness and freedom of speech.
