Prosecutions for racist hate speech in SA are rife. I abhor the hate speech and part of me is happy the perpetrators are punished BUT prosecutions are against one race group only. Hate speech from the other side is ignored.

Yes but most of it wasn't even hate speech. It was not like they were calling for violence or persecution.
They just mildly pointed out that some people were doing violence. But you are not even allowed to do that.
So "hate speech" is very very broadly defined, and basically they can charge anyone with it, who gets out of line. I already pointed this one out:
