PART 1:
Introduction
Hey my name is abdelhak sabiry.
If you’ve picked up this guide it means
that you’ve taken the first steps to
making money online.
I’m excited for you and I hope that this guide
acts as a key resource that you can refer to as you
start your journey into achieving full financial
freedom and success with online marketing.
Believe it or not everyone starts somewhere – my journey started about 5 years ago
when I first discovered the importance of list building. List building is a key
component of any business online. “The Money Is In The
List” You might read that and think “I would be happy with just $300” and yes when I was
getting started I said the same thing. Some people online will promise you a quick fix
or you’ll read how it’s possible to generate over $100,000 your first month online. Sure it’s possible but highly unlikely. Achieving $1,000,000 in a year in just one area
of my business has taken consistent hard work for a number of years. There are no
quick fixes – this is a business and like life there are no handouts here.
This guide is the first step towards building your list, however if you want to achieve
results like the ones described above, it is going to take discipline and consistent effort on your part.
PART 2:
Setup
What you’re going to need:
There are a number of essential tools that will be at the core of your business in this
industry. They are extremely important and I don’t personally do business without
them. I highly recommend getting every one of the tools I show you in this first
chapter – it’s going to save you a lot of time and money.
1. Domain Name:
If you want to create your own business, brand or website you need a domain name.
It’s your name on the web. Google’s domain name for example is http://google.com
it’s where anyone searching them can find them.
My recommended site for buying domains is - their support
could use some real improvement but their domains are the cheapest out there that
I have found to date.
2. Hosting Account:
A hosting account is what connects your domain to the internet space. It’s where all
of your data that is presented on your domain is stored. For example websites you
see on the internet – they have data which allows them to be presented and loaded.
The data is loaded from a server. That server is connected to your domain name
which is where people can find that data to look at.
My recommended host provider is HostGator: they are the
best starting point when you start
3. Email Marketing Client:
If you’re going to collect emails and send emails you need a software that can help
you do it. An email marketing provider allows you to manage your entire email list
and it’s going to make it easy to send emails that get delivered. I’ve used Aweber
since I got started in email marketing and they are a great solution for both starting
marketers and advanced marketers.
4. Site Building Software
A site builder software is a software that builds web pages for you. It saves you
having to learn html or hiring a developer. You can get site builders for free from
around the web however if you’re serious about making this a business that
generates money, I highly recommend getting one of the paid solutions.
5. Video Recording Software:
A video recording software is essential if you want to record training videos. You can
use software online that records your screen to help you record the screen and turn
what you do and show on your screen into a video. You create then sell these videos.
It’s one of the best ways to create training videos. My recommended software for
creating Video Recordings is again a software I have used since I first started in
online marketing called “Camtasia”
PART 3: Developing A Skill
One of the most important parts of marketing online is developing skills that you can
teach to others. It doesn’t need to be a skill that makes money or is going to make
your readers rich overnight. It simply needs to be some form of information that can help people.
We all started somewhere – there was a
time that I didn’t know how to buy a
domain name, didn’t know how to setup
my hosting account.
I still remember the first product I
purchased that taught me how to use
Wordpress.
We all start somewhere and only in
learning and committing to developing
skills can you reach a level where you can
teach others who were in the same
position you might be now.
Here’s a couple of ways that you can do
that:
1. Purchasing products online:
There are a number of people like me who have made money online and create
products showing others techniques, strategies and new skills they can learn. Many
of my courses have taught people how to write salescopy, create professional
videos, make money email marketing and more.
Find a skill you want to learn; something you can be passionate about and something
you can see yourself teaching in future. Find a product or a teacher that resonates
with you and learn that skill, apply it to your business then teach it.
Here are some ideas:
· Video Creation Course
· Wordpress Training Course
· Salespage Writing Course
· Facebook Pages Course
2. Use Udemy as a potential resource:
Udemy is like an online university for everything. It’s great!
A great place to make money if you’re a product creator and a great place to learn.
I use Udemy every time I’m trying to learn a new skill and can’t find any training on
JVZoo about it.
Here’s the website: http://udemy.com you can go to Udemy and find a potential skill
that you’d like to learn.
It could be Photoshop, premiere pro, marketing online anything.
Learn the skill – get good at doing it then create a product based on what you
learned and applied.
It’s one of the easiest ways to get started.
You can giveaway the knowledge you learn as a list generator or sell it to build your
customer list and make money.
PART 5:
Creating Your [First] Giveaway Product:
When you first create a product, as you’ll probably know it’s difficult! The first time I
sat down and tried to create something it took weeks to finish. You don’t have to do
that because you have this guide to walk you through the process (I had to put things
together from a number of different sources).
Let’s start with the basics first and then move on from there.
Brain Storming
The first step is to brain storm what type of product your audience is most likely
going to be interested in. Depending on the niche you’ll want to write up a large plan
of what is available to create that you feel confident you could learn enough about
to teach. Then start narrowing it down from there.
Here’s some examples of what a brainstorm might look like:
From here it’s time to select which topic is best suited for you.
It doesn’t need to be the final topic you specialize in but one that you feel some sort
of interest in.
For example mine was “How to help businesses setup a Facebook page”.
A friend of mine decided to go with “How to create great looking video templates” and another’s was “How to create a Wordpress site”.
There are a ton of different topics out there that you can use to start from.Choose one that works for you. Here are some potential starter topics:
· How to create a Wordpress blog
· How to create an advertising campaign in Facebook
· How to find professional high converting Wordpress themes
· A guide to the best video plugins available online
· A guide to the best Video Templates you can find online
· How to create video templates for Adobe Aftereffects
Creating Your Guide
Creating your guide should be the easiest part.
After learning all you need to about your chosen topic then write down all of the
different parts that might go into the product. Write a list or do another brain storm
chunking the product down.
To help you out, here’s a breakdown of my own list of what I was going to put into
this guide you’re reading. As you can see, this same list eventually became my
contents. Feel free to copy and edit this structure to create your own guide or product:
1. Introduction: Who am I
2. Setup: Domain, Hosting, Email Autoresponder, Site Builder
3. Developing a skill: Introduction, Learning From Other Marketers, Udemy
4. PLR Products: How PLR Can Assist You Early, Where to find great PLR Products
5. Creating Your Giveaway Product: Brain Storming your idea, Creating An
Outline for your training, Writing A Guide, Creating a Video Training Series
6. Creating An Opt-in Page: What is an opt-in page?, How it can be used as a key
part of your online strategy, Using a site builder (Our recommended site builder)
7. Generating Traffic For Your Page: How traffic works, How to generate traffic
8. Writing a quick and easy to understand follow-up sequence
As you can see it doesn’t need to be perfect it just needs to breakdown the different sections that you plan to write about.
Writing Your Guide
Now it’s time to write your guide. It’s not a difficult process to write the content if
you’ve already taken the time to learn your topic. Go ahead and start by writing and
filling in the gaps in the structure you see above.
Don’t feel limited to only creating a guide either. Feel free to add videos where it
suits and links where necessary to complementary products that might fit into what
you’re communicating.
A tip to creating your guide quickly is to set a time as to when your guide must be
finished. Set a 7 day deadline for example and write a chapter a day. If you’re
working a full time job or if you don’t have as much time as you’d like to contribute
to the guide then spreading it out over a number of days to take the pressure off and get it done.
Creating Training Videos
If you decide that you want to add videos into your guide to add information and
value for your subscribers then there is software that’s available to help you do just that.
Camtasia is the first software that I ever purchased to do this a few years ago and
they are still the best today. You can get the software for a 30 day free trial
Your training videos can be very basic but useful. When you’re starting out no one is
expecting you to have a professional studio setup or the wireless mics with perfect
sound. You don’t need any of that to create a good training program.
PowerPoint slides with your voice in the background will work just fine for these
videos.
PART 6:
Creating your Opt-In Page
Now that you’ve got your autoresponder setup and you know how to use it
correctly, it’s time to built an Opt-In page. There are many different options you can
use when it comes to building Opt-In pages. With technology most of the options are
very easy to use and learn. The software I recommend for doing this is Captifire. The
reason I like Captifire is because it’s very easy to use, they have some great
templates and you can have an Opt-In page setup and running for your business
generating leads within a couple of minutes.
Here’s an example of the interface:
PART 7:
How Traffic Works
What is ‘Traffic”?
Traffic is a name we use to label a group of people who are going to your website,
sales page or Opt-in page.
Really what it represents is people who have some how landed on your website with
an interest in what you’re doing.
Now the final piece of the puzzle is traffic. How do we get traffic and enough to
generate 3000 leads in 30 days?
Well there are a number of options. All of these I have used in my own business and
all of them work really well.
Before I jump in here’s the single most important lesson I’ve learnt about list
building.
CONSISTENCY!
When you find something that is working or if you have seen someone else using a
strategy that you are attempting to duplicate be consistent. I can’t tell you how
many times people give up after a week or two if they don’t feel like anything is
happening, the money isn’t coming in like they wanted to or they’ve got distracted.
The key is being consistent – doing the same thing over and over again when you’ve
started generating leads or when you start to see some leads come through. Keep
consistent and you’ll get much better at applying each of the strategies I outline and
you’ll get much more out of them.
How Does Traffic Work?
The key to traffic and generating traffic online is having links to your content (Opt-In
Page) around the web where people can see them and have enough interest to click
through and visit your website. It could be an ad, a blog post, free content you’ve
written for another website or an email referral. Traffic will only come to your
website if you’re able to get found. The ways I will show you now will help you get
found, help people see your links and act based on what they see.
So our goal in building a business online is to post our link to our Opt-in in as many
places where people are likely to click through as we possibly can.
Warrior Forum:
The Warrior Forum is where I and many other marketers got started making money
and marketing online. Today it still is for newcomers to the market one of the best
places to start your business and begin generating traffic.
There are a number of ways you can utilize the Warrior Forum to generate leads.
· Warrior Forum Special Offers
· Warrior Forum Solo Ads
· Warrior Forum War Room
· Guest Blogging Another great way of generating leads early to your page is becoming a Guest
Blogger for a popular blog website in your niche.
Here’s why this can work so well:
If the blog has authority in Google your blog post that includes your link back to your
Opt-in page can continually receive traffic for years to come naturally without any
additional work other than writing the blog post. I still receive traffic years later from
many of the guest blog posts I wrote for a number of websites that ranked highly in
the online marketing niche.
You can do a quick Google search and find sites that are ranking high for popular
keywords, send them an email and offer to provide content in exchange for an opportunity for you to generate traffic back to your websites. You’d be surprised
Product Welcome Pages:
One of the best ways to get your name out there and generate leads is connecting
with other marketers that already have products launched. Now often you’ll find it
will be a hard sell to get your Opt-In page on their thanks page so here’s another
idea. If you have content that could fit their customers then offer to provide the
content for free as an extra bonus the products creator can add in for the benefit of
their audience. When you send over the guide let them use it without asking for an
Opt-in before people download it. Make sure that inside the guide though you have
links back to your Opt-In and a bio of who you are. It will help get your name out
there and can really help in building a list and getting noticed early.
YouTube Traffic:
YouTube traffic is now becoming a major part of online marketing. It can be used as
a tool to rank your videos to the top of the search engines or a tool to find more
people on YouTube for a particular offer that you have.
Recently more and more marketers are also investing in paid advertising over
YouTube. It can really speed up the process of building a channel on YouTube that
has a significant following as well as generate more leads.
You can setup a YouTube account here and start uploading your videos generating more traffic
Facebook Traffic:
I want to close out the traffic section with Facebook traffic. Facebook is probably the
best traffic source you can use right now, why? Because everyone is using and
surfing Facebook right now. You can present your ads in front of people and when
they see your ads and click you can generate a lead or even a sale.
We use Facebook In three different main ways.
Facebook Posting:
Facebook posting is very straight forward. If you have a personal Facebook account you can gain additional JVs or sell to customers through Facebook very easily. As you
friend people post on Facebook what you have coming up, what you’re offering
while engaging with others on Facebook. It’s a quick way to get known and connect
with people in this community.
Facebook Advertising:
Facebook Advertising is a bit more advanced and is going to cost you some money.
First find a niche you want to target – there are software’s out there and training
courses that can guide you through the specifics on this process. Create an
advertisement for Facebook based on their sizes and promote that ad with a link
back to your free giveaway product. Monitor your results and make adjustments
based on how successful or unsuccessful your advertising campaign is. Many
marketers use Facebook Advertising as their main source of traffic.
Facebook Retargeting:
Facebook Retargeting has become really popular over the past few years. In our
campaigns or launches we always use retargeting because it always generates results
and sales for us.One of the most successful recent campaigns we ran using retargeting we actually generate 300 additional sales solely from Facebook.Retargeting works by placing a tracking pixel on your page. The tracking pixel tracks
users activity. When they come to your page it tells Facebook and then Facebook presents the user with your ads. If someone clicks through and buys your product
from you – you can measure that by adding a conversions pixel to your thankyou
page. It’s a great way to monitor your sales progress and make additional saThere are a number of products and resources out there to help you with
retargeting. Retargeting can help you bring people back to your page from Facebook,
generate more leads and sales
PART 8:
Writing an Effective Email and Follow-Up
Sequence
An email sequence is the emails that a user receives when they register for your free
information. It’s a tool that you can use to inform, educate and sell.
There are a number of resources that are available around the web to help you more
effectively communicate through autoresponders. Today I’ll cover a quick example sequence you can use to get your free giftgoing.
This is a very basic sequence. You can write up your own sequence and schedule it
into your chosen email auto responder.
This is a very easy way to get started emailing and if you can setup your auto
responder correctly it can turn into an automatic stream of income as your leads go
through the auto responder sequence.
Conclusion
You’ve now learnt the strategies I used to generate my first 3,000 leads within my
first month online.
I encourage you now to go out there, learn and apply what I’ve taught here.
Your first step is to learn a skill, create a product then create and advertise you Optin
Page encouraging users to become a lead or a new customer of yours.
I wish you the best of success and if you need to get in touch with me at any stage
