yay! you joined! but you didn't link me to your post, i had to look for it lol.

yeah if you ran out of the ability to do things, it's because you don't have any HP i'm sure. i don't really know how much is necessary to just make posts. someone was nice enough to delegate a bunch of it to me on my first or second day so i've never actually had the problem so it's hard for me to know the best solution.

i can probably delegate some of mine to you, i can figure it out in the morning i'm sure.

and i don't know if there's a perfect community for like your deso posts. most people here might think that you are just posting short tweets or something, but you're always referencing something and giving your brand of commentary with it. which i think works fine. i'm def not an expert here though lol. i mean at a certain point we can create a community that would be geared towards it. that was one of the things i thought i would like to do here, make a community that would be the right kind of place for people from deso to post in and feel at home. but not call it "DeSo community" because i wouldn't want it to feel like i'd be making some insular community here.

but i don't think there's any issue with posting whatever you want to your own blog, it's only if you tag communities where there would be specific rules about the content. ofc then people kinda have to know how to find you. i'll see it!! 😆

Thanks. Yeah definitely need to take some time to figure out the different communities and where my style might fit. It does seems like short rapid-fire stream of consciousness posts would be kind of annoying here. Looking at what I posted on DeSo lots of it is snarky insider commentary on what was trending over there--not super relevant here. With all the moon boys and ultra-positivity it felt like there needed to be an honest and cynical counterweighted voice.

Thanks for prodding me to join,

You might enjoy the comedyopenmic community here. It's in the list somewhere. #comedyopenmic

They do a weekly contest, and plenty of people around with a sense of humor.

Excellent, thanks. It's so painful when people are inappropriately jokey in the wrong venue. I don't wanna be that guy. I want to find the right communities. I mean attempts at humor aren't all I do. I'm sure there are other groups aligned to my interests.

Well, it's published across everything regardless. Be yourself. You'll find your people. Plenty of groups, plenty of people. And like life, some are more welcoming than others. For the most part it's chill. Be patient. Takes awhile to get moving but it's not impossible. People stick around for years, for a reason. Some are here a day and gone LOL!

Thanks for the tips. Much appreciated.
