hello! i got a link here from a friend on the $DeSo platform and figured i should check it out.
i love to create content. i don't know if this is the kind of place where i should cross post stuff that i make, or what exactly. i don't know what this place is! but i'll keep checking it out. i'm making this post before looking around, cause why not?
i'll include some images that i've made, just to make this less boring!
strange, it seems like it might be limiting my animated gif?
that's how it the first one ends too so i dunno if it's cutting it off somehow or what.
i'm not just trying to shill stuff, but certainly if you want to be cool and follow me, that would be super 😊 My LinkTree And this will be a little site for me but it's in progress sooooo I shouldn't link it but whatever! kitty.fourdown.org
Welcome to HIVE.
Btw if you do one hell of an intro post then you do get some decent votes. Anyways people around here more like long contents. You can explore for communities here: https://peakd.com/communities and join any you like. Welcome again.
yeah i can definitely write a lot, but i'm not a "writer" either.. i mean, my ability to write is great, i think. but i'm not a great story teller. though i'll grab some of my ~terrifying stories of my cat~ and post them here and see how they do. of course the problem is i'm coming from a place with a ~560 character limit, so everything i write is like a nice fun-size snickers bar. i would typically create an image to go with it. but when i am able to write a lot.. i take advantage of the opportunity way too much.
and so i did look through communities, you know i don't necessarily know where i would typically go just to chat. i've done the forums thing, i've always found it's a lot harder to get to know people. it's like sitting down to eat in a nice restaurant and talking, when you're in a forum.
i like to get to know people just drinking a beer and standing by the bar, you know? which community would fit that? 😁
I agree, i am also not a content creator so hardly post or get motivation to do that. I'm mostly around some communities discord especially games on hive like Splinterlands.
I hard for me to direct you to a community who are meeting up a lot, but Ladies of Hive may be the one to start with or foody one.
We can start a meetup community if that's missing or wait for metaverse so we can meet in virtual reality than travelling all around.
Here is discord invitation to Mancave People and it's not only for men, it's just the name ;).
so i definitely don't know anything about that community to speak about it specifically, but i do tend to try and avoid putting myself in any kind of category by gender or anything like that where i might worry it could create an impression that my content is thus geared in that direction, if you know what i mean.
i would probably look for maybe television, computer programming, i like football though not usually online communitiies for it, i like crypto, of course cats always work but it's kinda like a cheat code. where da memes at?
mancave people huh. i'll bring my scented mandle, this one smells like tires and BBQ, everyone should love it
thx :)
CINE TV is for television or shows or anything about films.

Happy hunting. :)
oh I forgot about the !PIZZA. You can have some 😜
ooh thanks, i replied to the pizzabot but maybe my song would have been better received going to a person and not a metal machine. they never appreciate the things i say.
i went to the site, i don't quite understand the pizza mechanics, but i'll figure it out.
no need to explain it to me unless there might be something urgent for me to do, i'm sure i just need to spend a few minutes reading and i hate to make someone take the time to say something that i have the ability to figure out on my own. only once i've made a proper attempt and still have questions do i feel it appropriate to hope for extra help lol
🕉️☀️💜🙏@kitty4d I keep seeing you at all the cool places!

Hello @kitty4d! This is @indayclara from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. We saw that you already posted your first blog here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome!
Anyways, the best way to start your journey here in Hive is do an awesome introduction post telling us more about your passion and interests. You can choose on whatever information you would like to share and be creative as you want to be. This will help other Hivers get to know you and be comfortable supporting your works here.
It's also best to subscribe to Communities you like and share your blogs there to have a wider range of audience. Or you can check out the Communities Incubation Program.
Also, letting you know since content on the Hive platform is monetized, using other people’s ideas or images could be considered as an offense and which is also viewed in a serious light on the blockchain. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.
If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: Newbie guide. If you have questions, you can hop into Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions. Feel free to tag @lovesniper @indayclara once you have made your awesome introduction post! See you around.
hey, thanks, yes i've been a part of another web3 platform on a blockchain, so i guess i have the immutability that i really hate (for social media) to potentially thank if someone ever worries that i've gotten an idea from them! i can always show what kind of stuff i did and when i did it before.
the other platform was also monetized, but there is no sense of competition amongst the creators there. even though over there we have our own individual coins for people to buy and sell in addition to receiving amounts for individual posts. is it different here? i know the currency over there is capped at its current supply, yet here i think more gets made, so i guess it would seem like there would be less reason for competition here. hopefully it's not competitive, i like to cheer on other creators and exchange ideas, give credit be gracious be honest!
thank you for welcoming me 😊
