Although new to Hive I have been researching crypto for some time. First impressions are that it was difficult to get a free account from the sign up page and I got impatient and ended up buying one for $1 with Ether. The transaction fee alone was $0,20 so looking forward to see what it's like on this blockchain that says transactions cost no fees.
Anyway, I'm a 25 year old male who's been playing world of warcraft (as my username spoils) ever since vanilla and is now back to playing classic. Other than that I live with my significant other and we have cats which we try remember to feed in between all the gaming we do. I'm happy to have found someone who's as interested in gaming (especially world of warcraft) as me but we also do other fun things and try other games.
I'm not completely new with crypto but she is and was not interested in creating an account at this time but let's see if I can change her mind about it later.
So what's up, what can you tell me about this blockchain? I initially heard about Hive from Twitter just recently and saw the active gaming community here so had to give it a try. I enjoy reading r/gaming, r/games and r/wowclassic on Reddit usually but will be checking out the kind of content and engagement that goes on here although the latter seems to be lacking a little bit but I figure that's normal with a smaller userbase at this time.
Anyone else here interested or playing world of warcraft? I might write some articles about the game itself and how come I'm still playing it to this day although I hear there's also something called blockchain gaming coming up so can't wait to find out how that differs and if it brings any new life into the MMORPG sphere.
