Hi all,
I've just joined Steemit and thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Sean and I live in Bangkok. I've been here for almost 9 years. I left my previous job in Hong Kong to work in Bangkok for a year, but ended up staying here instead. I lived in Hong Kong for 35 years before moving to Thailand. I'm British by nationality, but I wasn't born in the UK, so I'm more Asian than British :-)
I love travel, food, cars, tech, crypto currencies and a wide variety of other things so those will be the main topics you'll see me write about.
I am also an entrepreneur and I'm about to launch a new food based business here in Bangkok, so although I'm keeping it a bit secret at the moment, I hope to have lots of things to post about starting my new business in Bangkok soon.
Thank you for taking the time to read my little intro, if you have any questions about Hong Kong, Macau or Bangkok then fire away. I may be able to answer them, I'll certainly do my best.
Cheers!

if you ever do any beer or alcohol posts, feel free to use the steempub tag. It keep all of the booze posts together, and makes them easier to find. I'll take one of those Asahi!!
Thanks for the heads up buddy, I do a lot of beer posts, we have some great craft beers here in Chicago. I love anything by Half Acre, Lagunitas and Revolution...yum. What's the deal with tags, can anything be a tag or should we be posting under specific tags? Sorry I'm totally new to this, still learning the ropes.
Nice, definitely post them!! You can definitely use any tag that you want, but the more popular ones obviously get seen more. I just started using the steempub tag a couple of days ago. I have only been here 3 weeks or so. I noticed that the booze related posts were all over the place, with no real main tag for them. There was beer, wine, drinks (mixed in with smoothies), and food (mixed with...well...food). So I thought up steempub, to get them all together. I literally just started getting people to use it, and it's getting good traction now. That being said, I would use as many (up to 5) pertinent tags as possible. They are really important for getting noticed.
I'll do a wine post tomorrow, my tags will be, in order.. steempub wine food life blog. I think that hits most of the most popular bases, with the exception of sttempub, because it's new; and wine, because it's very specific. With the others, you hit a lot more general eyes. It's good to have a little of each, I think.
I love an ice cold Asahi on a hot day! Thanks for the tag advice @thewineman
Greetings buddy :)
Cheers mate!
saw your post as I follow @bkkshadow - welcome and looking forward to learning about your food venue - I gather it won't be a soi food cart! So has that crackdown continued to be localized in certain areas?
Hi @timelapse actually it will be a soi food cart, in fact I hope it turns into many carts (although that won't be the only sales channel for our product). Full details will be coming soon :-)
Good luck buddy :)
