Hello Beautiful People!
I've been on Steemit for a while now, and I haven't actually written a post yet. Here I go.
I am a human being of the female persuasion, mostly from Oregon. I am in my early thirties, I am married to a man, and I have a cute little dog named Layla. 
I try to keep things up beat and positive, but I am only human and sometimes I let negative things affect me.
My sweet little puppy is actually an 11 year old dog that I adopted in December of 2016 when she was 10 years old. I had waited 10 years to get another dog after my lovely poodle Pilot passed away suddenly from pancreatitis. Who knew that this lovely little being was born that same year, and it took us this long to find each other. 
As you can see, I'm not very good at talking about myself. I feel kind of awkward posting anything, since I don't really have anything life changing to say. I'm not a part of a major movement, I don't claim a political party, or a religion. I believe that I am Soul having a human experience. I have no religion, but love. I find that religions tend to be about controlling something or someone, and I'm just not interested in that.

WELCOME! You should edit this and add #introduceyourself as you FIRST tag (do not include the #). The reason I say this is because the easiest way to get new followers is when you do your introduction post, but it will only come up in that category if you use the "introduceyourself" tag as your first tag.
Also, you have only used 3 tags, "intro", "love" & "dog". You are allowed 5 tags per post, and you should always use 5 so the max amount of people can see your post in all 5 categories. So add the "introduceyourself" tag before the other 3 you already have, and then add one more tag to make 5. I would recommend using the "steemit" or "blog" or "new" tag, all those are popular.

Welcome, our family has two dogs and a cat we adopted all of them. I am brand new on Steemit and I am learning how to post my own introduction. Hopefully I can post it this week.
