Hello fellow bloggers,
I am Armehl, I am totally new to blogging.
My son introduced me to this platform and so I figured why not. During this pandemic, I'm sure we all have so many thoughts and self-talks going through our minds. What better way to quiet the mind and find peace, than to put your thoughts down - somewhere safe.
So here I am, a mom of two teenagers, a partner, a daughter, a friend to many.
I am from South Africa. Like the rest of the world, we are also experiencing the devastation of the C- virus and trying to carve out our space in the 'new normal', whatever that may be. I really don't want to put the virus's name in my first post because frankly, I'm sick of seeing it and hearing about it everywhere, all the time.
I'm a stay-at-home mom. My son is homeschooling. My daughter is currently home due to the schools not being safe during the pandemic.
I am currently studying property development, with the aim of investing in residential and commercial property in the near future. I love investing and making money grow. I invest in FOREX and Bitcoin. I'm by no means an expert - I learn every day.
Not sure what I will blog about in the future but let's try to keep it uplifting during these depressing times.

Welcome to Hive! It's awesome, there's a bunch of people from South Africa here like @chekohler and some others he knows of. Really glad that you're on here with us!
There is an excellent opportunity to learn and expand yourself with this platform. We have a vast litany of communities you can get involved in. There has been some posts about real estate but not a lot where I would think it's organized into a community.
If you haven't checked out the communities, I would recommend doing so! There are so many different flavors of groups of people on here it's almost impossible to get involved in every one of them which makes it really awesome.
If you have any questions please let me know and I will try to help you out on it! I will post a link to a nice beginners guide you can check out.

You're welcome! One of the things I wanted to do is give you a piece of advice that could make this place awesome for you! Talking with some of the people who have been here for a while, we remember one of the best things we did when we first started was to find other people’s posts through others or go looking and start commenting meaningful things. If you drop small phrases it won’t get you much attention but if you look at a persons post and leave a great comment, a lot of times they will appreciate it and talk with you. If you continue to do this you will develop a friendship with them and will gain followers and grow your account. This is not an easy and fast process. It takes time but the more effort you put in the more you can be rewarded, with limitations of course.
I just say this in hopes you go out there and really connect with people and grow your account. The more we all do this, the more people will come here to take advantage of such a great place.
