Lloyd Zimmerman was born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the age of 17 he joined the United States Navy and served four years. During that time he traveled through the Caribbean and Europe.
After completing his military service, he married Faye J. Hassler on January 20, 1967. They have two married daughters, Alisa Woolums and Rebekah Parrish and 5 wonderful grandchildren.
In 1971 Lloyd gave his life to Jesus and promptly God placed a call upon Lloyd’s life to be in full time ministry. The response was Yes Lord, as Lloyd and Faye and their two small girls moved to Wilmore, Kentucky to embark on a new life. It was there that Lloyd attended Asbury College and then Asbury Seminary. Lloyd was attending school, even during the summers, working and also pastoring a church during those 7 ½ years. However, since God had a plan for this young pastor to fulfill, he was preparing him mightily. After 7 ½ years of absorbing knowledge he graduated from college with a degree in Bible and Christian Education and Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree. Shortly after graduating, Lloyd and his family were called to another church and moved north to Three Springs, Pa. Following a pastorate there, he planted a church in Mapleton Depot, Pa. During this time he attended a night course at Juniata College, Huntington, Pa. earning a certificate in Business Management.
In 1990, Lloyd gladly accepted the call to come to Mt Rock Church as Pastor. During the time of his ministry he has pioneered in the areas of counseling and deliverance, and spiritual warfare ministries. These many years have given Lloyd the training and experience he needed to accomplish a productive and successful ministry. He is a strong supporter of missions and through his ministry God has called out 9 missionaries for the fields. He has a strong desire to use God’s gifts whatever it looks like, and wherever that might take him.
God has used the teaching and preaching abilities of Lloyd to minister to other nations. He has traveled to and ministered in Honduras, Haiti, Israel, and India. The times in other countries have included pastor’s conferences, revival and healing services and ministering with the poor. He has lead two teams from the Mt Rock Church to India to serve with him in the pastor’s conferences and ministries. These were awesome times.
Lloyd Zimmerman has a calling from God to be a prophetic voice to the nations as we are quickly moving into the end times.
Crazy how such a full life can be summed up so quickly. You have lived well, brother.
