All about me "hello steemians"!

Hi steemians i'm Aljandel Gellacone Lopez (jed) for short and i have a hundred of friends outhere... i am now presently taking my apprenticeship at 2go SuperCat Fast Ferry Corporation .I am an engine cadet and carrying a big responsibility in the vessel . I take charge for the safety of our crew onboard as well as also to the passengers.I do the familiarization of the ship to my cabin crew before they able to onboard the vessel for some safety measures.Everyday i make people laugh in a way of greeting them in early in the morning and share my evereday thoughts to set a goodvibes for everybody. i used to be part of it because this is quite interisting and it will help me to bost and enhance my english spoken and writting skills. I am expecting for more and more lessons and learning from my steemit family.In further i look forward to meet and greet and explore beyond to my expectation.thats all for now .Thank you for reading my first blog ..i was encourage by my brother inlaw @dsailor ,sister @chellelbaguio and my girlfriend's auntie @grace44 which are also a steemians so i grab the opportunity to be part of the steemit family.

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.

1. Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2. Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3. Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4. Be yourself.
5. Be interesting and informative.
6. Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7. Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.

One more point. Submitting photos in the various photo contests is a great way to earn a bit of Steem and to attract followers. Here are links to 2 contests.

For entries into those photo contests, short posts are OK. But it's a good idea to add a bit of text explaining the photo, to give the post some meat and to make it more interesting.
