Hello to the Steemit Community!
My name is Andrew and I am 11 years old. I am adventurous and I love playing music.
I live at the Garden of Eden with my Mom and sister. I like living here. It’s a wonderful place because you can do anything you want. I am free to chose to be what I want here.
I love having fun, playing games and pushing myself to be stronger. I'm a master at Legos, I love playing with cars and I have a Beautiful crystal collection! One of my favorites is Opalite.
Luckily, I have been "unschooled" since I was 7. I love being unschooled. I have learned more then I would then if I was in school and I have a lot more free time and fun.
Being unschooled, allows me to do things that other kids don't really do. I'm barefoot all day, I can learn the things I want to and I am In nature a lot!
My life is wonderful.
Thank you for letting me share!
All the best!Welcome. My 12-yr-old son is unschooled too. He joined Steemit but hasn't posted yet ... https://steemit.com/@isaiahcase
Nice, I look forward to reading his post. Thank you
Welcome to Steemit! There is lots to see, do and learn here! Say hi to your friend at the GOE for me -- @saramiller !! (:
Wow, so young, welcome to Steemit, stay out of the NSFW section.
Welcome little friend. Nice air!
Thanks!
Wonderful! Welcome My favorite little one!
Welcome to Steemit @andrewsen. I love that you are living some of the benefits of being unschooled and creating a life of your own self-design. May you be inspired to experience great things and live your passion for the betterment of all. Great to see you here.
Where is The Garden of Eden that you live?
When you say you have been 'unschooled' what does that mean?
I'm glad your life in wonderful - that's what life should be :-)Hello @andrewsen, welcome to Steemit.
Hi! The Garden of Eden is in Texas. Unschooled meaning that I am learning based on my own adventures, not what schools think I should learn. Thanks for asking!
Cool. ;-)
So tell me, what have you learned based on your adventures?
Please understand that I am not criticizing your lifestyle and learning.
I am a 'teacher' of sorts, so I am interested in what you are learning and how you are learning.
I think coming to Steemit is a good plan for you, because you will get to meet people from all over the world and get difference perspectives, more than you would get in formal schooling.
For example - I live in Wellington, New Zealand.
Do you know where that is?
What can you tell me about it?
The GOE is honestly doing some really really good stuff, look up their account on here and @saramiller - she lives there too
Welcome to Steemit. When you say "I love playing music" does that mean you play a musical instrument?
Thank you. Yes, I play the piano, I'm learning the didgeridoo and guitar!
Would you like to join us at Open Mic and play something?
Here's the link for this weeks and this explains what it's all about.
It doesn't matter if you win or not, you could still get some upvotes and rewards and it's fun.
Yes! sure I will join. Sounds really fun. Thank you.
@andrewsen, welcome to steemit. I like the unschooled idea. Does that mean you are completely out of the system of education. Do you have home schooling curriculum? I will be reading your post.
Welcome to Steemit Andrew, you are off to a great start! :))
Welcome to SteemIt. Just remember even though your not in school, never stop learning. There are so many benefits to learning outside of school.

Welcome to Steemit!
I am 34 and also a Lego master! My favorite crystal in my collection is amethyst.
Man that's whats up! Its cool to hear about young people doing cool stuff like that. Cant wait to hear more from you. I'd remember telling my friend a while back that these kids now days might be better off educating themselves at this point, but its crazy to see it actually happening.
