Hi Irene, nice to meet you :)
It's a small world, I had the Solitaire software packed with a 486-clone pc my family bought way back in the day (in Australia), and the other package looks familiar as well.. Nostalgia :)
Cool intro post, and thanks @merej99 for the tag - I'll be following
Now that is cool! I never thought I would meet someone who had bought one of my games!
I had to do a double take at first, its been sooo long now. Theres a tiny chance we even still have the box in storage somewhere. My partner @krystle remembered seeing the same Solitaire package, so your distributor did something right - I have this mental image of it bundled with msworks , encarta, corel draw and windows as a package deal being pushed really hard in QLD Australia back in the day :)
@krystle and my families didn't know each other back then, lived on opposite sides of the state but yet we both have this same memory :P
It really is a small world
I think that is about the coolest thing I've ever heard. Thank you for sharing that.
I agree that the distributor did a good job. We actually lived on the royalties for a year. I've actually begun looking at the programs again with the thought of redoing them for Windows 10 and/or as mobile apps.
