RE: Greetings STEEMIANS! #introducemyself

in #introducemyself7 years ago

Hello r4s1n, and welcome to steemit. I represent a group of users that welcome new users to steemit and we try to give a leg up, and help out new users. If you see any post that have newbieresteemday in the title, that person is willing to help, and you never need to fear about asking any questions. Our lead page is @newbieresteemday, and we use the tag #newbiresteemday and use that tag also to find people that use it and might want some help or just a comment on their page, or small vote.

I am also involved with an individual creating a game/contest on steemit. It has elements of an RPG, and contest elements. It is called Information Finding Championship. @IFC is the home page, and it is being developed by @apolymask. I have been having a lot of fun playing in the various rounds, and a lot of other people have also. This is a long running competition, and season 1 does not end until mid July. So if you are looking to have a little fun, or just a stress break, you are welcome to check it out and join.

There are a lot of other communities that very helpful to new users, @steemgreetersguild is one of them, they like the newbie resteem team are willing to help new users, and that is indeed the focus of these two groups.

There are lots of communities being established. If you are really really into IT stuff and programing, then Utopian.Io may be for you. (I do not know a lot about them other than they have quite a large programming group).

I think I best end it there, I could go on forever about steemit, and this and that aspect, suffice it to say, I have a lot of fun on steemit. Enjoy your stay, and if you have questions feel free to ask me or any one associated with any of the groups I mentioned.
