RE: Greetings Steemians!

Hey, welcome! I have taken the time the last couple days to go through new account intro posts. Yours was in the list today. The clover picture, to some people at least, would seem rather boring. Let me tell you why I greatly enjoyed it.

First, I dabble in herbalism, and clover is a great plant for sooo many reasons. As a child I would eat the flowers. Bees love them to make excellent honey too. It is also visually pleasing. I look at that photo and emotionally relax. It is soothing to the soul so to speak.

I'm always most at ease when in the wilderness. Forest green is my favorite color too. Green is the true color of life, and nature provides us with everything we'd ever need to thrive.

Your tactic about the bots is reasonable. I messed with them at first. What I found though is that they did very little good. Even the MSP service wasn't much help unfortunately. I'd use all the bots, etc. Then the post would only have those as replies. There'd be no good conversation, no learning, and no emotional enjoyment by anyone involved. I stopped using them quickly in favor of more personal tactics (like going through intro posts).

Speaking of intro posts, I will end this rambling now with the usual content I share with new people to help them out. It's the type of content a bot would share, but I never share it by itself. There's always a personal hand typed note above it to connect with the person in a real way.

It's a pleasure to meet you, and I look forward to your future content!!!

There are a ton of other webpages to help you with Steemit. Here are some of the best for beginners:

https://steemd.com/ (This site is used to keep track of your voting power and other stats. You do not want to run out of voting power, and you only get so much per day. I keep my voting power around 80% for example.)

https://steem.makerwannabe.com/ (This site will tell you who follows you, who unfollows you, and who mutes you. It is great for meeting new people too. I regularly check it to see who has followed me to see if I should follow them back.)

https://steemit.chat/ (This site is the official chat webpage for Steemit. There are Discord channels too, but I usually stick to the official site. Come in to network and meet new friends. You can directly message people there too, so it makes it easier to communicate with your closest friends.)

Oh yeah, there are a lot of bots on here. If you see a cookie cutter reply, especially to your intro post, it is almost certainly a bot. Check the account's reputation. If it is low, I would recommend just ignoring them. Everything is public on Steemit, so you can go look at an account's comments and replies. Are they all the same? It's a bot.

Again, welcome, and I've followed you! If you have any questions about getting started, look me up on the chat site.
