[ENG VERSION] Timeline of a crazy hair 😎

in #introducemyself7 years ago

Hey! I hope you're having a wonderful time in Steemit 😝

Since I was born my hair condition was unbelievable. It was basically another body just of hair.

I always wore natural long hair until my mom just cut it up to my cheeks because a girl in elementary school had lice and that was a horrible end for me.

9 years old, 2009.

My mom used to tell me that I looked like a crazy hen, but we know it was her fault.

To avoid looking like a crazy hen: my mom ironed my hair every week, waiting for it to grow, and for six years everyone believed that I had natural straight hair 🙊

Graduation party, 2016.

I stopped ironing it for two reasons:

  1. Long enough.
  2. For my hair' sake.

My sister's graduation, 2015.

People are surprised because of my natural hair, they did not believe that the curls were not made with a curling tong, they thought they were false 😂 In my community, a lot of people, men and women, straightened their hair so it's much more probable to see straight hairs down the street than to see a large cloud of curlers. People look at me a lot because of my hair, besides that I love to comb my hair differently.

First months of 2016.

Over time my hair becomes heavy and annoying; besides laborious.

So I decided to cut it up to my shoulders and change the color just a little, so it would look brighter.

As soon as I left the hairdressing salon, I had to let everyone know my reaction.

Although obviously the finished work was going to be when the hair finally dried.

November 2016, starting college.

Receiving new year with new style.

I liked it more than I thought I would like. I was the center of attention 😳

I discovered that my college classmates secretly took pictures of me.

So when it started to grow again, I cut it. My hair grows so fast that in a month I had to cut it off again 😒

But I always dreamed about having Afro, so confident that the previous cut had been good, I cut it just a little more, up to the chin.

Beginning of 2017.

I knew that my hair would not stay soooo afro, because my curls are a bit loose, but I had to try ...

Then I decided not to cut it anymore.

Anymore.

Enough.

But then my sister (defender of short hair) happens. And her bad influence 😔

End of 2017.

Understand me, the growth process never took so long, I was despaired.

Then for the second consecutive time receiving new year with new style.

Happy new year, everyone!!

Who knows what else I can think of soon😇
