Hello! All My Friends On Steemit! This Is More About Me!

I wanted to introduce myself to you once agian because in my first introduction post I didn't describe enough about me, for I didn't have enough time. So sorry for that. Now, I am glad to have enough time to introduce myself to you once again, and hope I will be able to have enough time to keep touch with you all on steemit.

Who Am I?

I am Lianiang and 22 years old. I and my family belong to Christianity, and I am a lover of reading book, especially the Bible which transforms me to the better life.

My early life

I don't know what religion you belong to, but I am a christian. Both of my parents are belonging to Christianity. I was born and grew up from among christian family, but until when I was 17 years old, I still remained non-christian and never went to church despite being instructed by my parents to go to church with them. I used to smoke and drink alcohol secretly, especially while my parents went to church, or somewhere alse. I just did whatsoever I desired, without showing respect to my parents and disobeying their instructions.

I had two brothers, one six years older than I am and the other ten years. Both of them already got married. So, I and my parents live in our house. Our family usually has family prayer, but almost all the times, I refused to participate. My parents felt so sad about my life. I knew my parents always prayed for me, but I just ignored it. In this way I remained non-christian for 17 years. But one day on the beautiful morning, I got up early and saw my parents praying for me with tear on their cheek. And then from that time on I came to obey my parents a little bit, but still remained unbeliever.

New Life

One day when my father went to work away, my asked me to read the Bible with her (you might not know what the Bible is if you do not belong to Christianity, but I wish you try to read it at least one time). I just agree. Then I and my mother read the book of Romans from the first chapter up to the seventh chapter. It was so boring for me to read such a long passage. And when I and my mother read Romans 6:23, "Rom Cakuat 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord".

I was so disturbed, and started to think about what kind of sin and what the gift of God mentioned here is. Then mother explained me all about what they are. And I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour. It was when I was 17 years old. It is a great previledge for me. I really thank the Lord for letting me know my sinful nature and preparing the Lord Jesus Christ to save me from the chain of that sin.

From that time onwards my life was totally changed and reading the Bible became my favourite thing which was ever so boring to me.

All my friends on steemit, I just wish you try to read the Bible at least one time. It may bring you something new in your life. Please do try it!
