Hello Steemit world! My name is Eddie, and a friend suggested I try this out so here I am. I am a 36 year old with 4 amazing kids, and an AMAZING wife who is my lifemate and crutch through difficult times. It also helps she's a hardcore gamer, and major smartass!
I am/was a cook/chef for quite a few years until a recent failed neck surgery, and the recent discovery of an autoimmune issue took me out of the kitchen to full time stay at home dad! I had been a top trainer for places like Applebee's, and Outback along with many years working in bars and family owned kitchens. It's been a fun journey trying to use what I learned working at home coming up with new ideas to give my kids a wide variety of flavors, and cooking styles! I am always up to trying new recipes ideas that match the budget!
I am also a very hardcore gamer, but that's not as viable as it used to be due to the nerve damage and managing health issues! I still try to stay on top and massively enjoy gaming with the wife and kids! You don't always have to go out into the world to have a good time! We enjoy playing online games like Elder Scrolls Online, and World of Warcraft as a family! It leads to alot of interesting conversations. Who did you kill today, or I heard you topped the charts and people kept saying how badass you were!
I plan to write articles on different food ideas we've had or things we have tried as a family, but honestly.. I would LOVE to write articles about our gaming experiences as a family, and the amazing worlds we have seen playing them! I know my kids think it's really cool just me writing about it! Though our son prefers anything he can watch on Youtube haha.
I will make posts as long as people want to read them, and when I can.. health issues make it VERY difficult to use a keyboard at times but I want to do this! I look forward to reading all of your articles, and seeing how people like some of mine! I haven't written anything major since college, and that was YEARS ago! Again, pleasure to meet you all and hopefully I write something that makes someones day better! GAME ON!!
