Hi! Thanks for the reply. :)
I did post the prologue and first chapter (link in the post). Since the "action" doesn't start till later in the book, shouldn't be an issue. But I will be sure to mark the next chapters (especially when it gets interesting) as NSFW.
I've tried NaNo for the first time in my LiveJournal days. That's many a year ago. I wrote a HORRIBLE vampire novel I later lost (been backing up religiously since) and started another novel which I could not finish. When I need to write 1,500 words a day for work, writing another 1,300 for fun is just not fun, I am afraid.
However, I hope to get enough peer pressure and support here on steemit to be able to invest more time in creative writing rather than work writing.

I've been blessed to be able to continue on with creative writing because work writing was killing me.
I hate when I lose old material - even if it's not good! A lot of times it's just a turn of a phrase that kicks the muse in the ass for something better. I have a new strategy this year for NaNo... I'll probably write a bunch of flash fic and put them in a compilation. Between trying to build a following here and being a brand new ML for NaNo, I've got my hands full.
I'll have a read through Mistress of Magic real soon :)
Good luck! Hopefully, I'll be done with the first book by then. I am about a chapter away but life.
