I'm Cristina de los Ángeles Turmero Nuitter because this is my first publication, I will introduce myself, so you can know a little bit about me and about the content that I want to give you, to start my way inside this social network, I'm 45 years old, a beautiful son and I'm from the most beautiful country in the world Venezuela, I was born and raised in Caracas, the capital city that according to some surveys is considered one of the most stressful cities in the world, but for those of us who grew up here it's just normal. Within this so-called stress in which we caraqueños live in many occasions it takes us to make decisions about what we are, say and do, affecting those around us.

Soy Cristina de los Ángeles Turmero Nuitter por ser esta mi primera publicación me presentare , para que conozcan un poco acerca de mí y acerca del contenido que quiero hacerles llegar, para comenzar mi camino dentro de esta red social, tengo 45 años, un hijo hermoso y soy del país más bello del mundo Venezuela, nací y crecí en Caracas, la capital ciudad que de acuerdo con algunas encuestas es considerada unas de las estresantes del mundo, pero para los que nos criamos aquí es simplemente normal. Dentro de este llamado estrés en el que los caraqueños vivimos en muchas ocasiones nos lleva tomar decisiones sobre lo que somos, decimos y hacemos, incidiendo esto sobre los que nos rodean.

With reference to the above I will make known my objective or purpose within this community, I am a lover of animals, especially cats, in fact, I am 7, almost 8, I am a lawyer and one day I discovered that I love to help them, with love, food, and many times saving their lives, either because they are mistreated, physically or by not being fed, by wanting to be removed abruptly and arbitrarily from the place where they make life. I want to share with all of you my experience with cats, their habits, food, diseases, sleeping habits, veterinary care, among other things.

Con referencia a lo anterior daré a conocer mi objetivo o propósito dentro de esta comunidad, soy amante de los animales, especialmente de los gatos, de hecho, tengo 7, casi 8, soy abogada y un día descubrí que me encanta ayudarlos, con cariño, alimento, y muchas veces salvando sus vidas, ya sea porque son maltratados, físicamente o por no ser alimentados, al querer ser retirados de manera abrupta y arbitraria del lugar en el que hacen vida. Deseo compartir con todos ustedes mi experiencia con los gatos, sus costumbres, alimentación, enfermedades, hábitos de sueño, atención veterinaria, entre otras cosas.

I would like to add that as a lawyer I will inform you about the Venezuelan legislation in force regarding the protection of domestic fauna, the offenses contemplated in the current Venezuelan Criminal Code. Also some Dantean cases that were news in other countries with the purpose that they see the mistreatment to which the animals can get to be submitted and in that way they can get to respect the animals like alive beings, in the particular case of the cats have been object of persecutions and myths throughout history.

Cabe agregar que como abogada les daré a conocer la legislación venezolana vigente en cuanto a la protección de la fauna doméstica, las faltas contempladas en el actual Código Penal de Venezuela. También algunos casos dantescos que fueron noticias en otros países con el propósito de que vean el maltrato al que pueden llegar a ser sometidos los animales y de esa manera puedan llegar a respetar a los animales como seres vivos, en el caso particular de los gatos han sido objeto de persecuciones y mitos a lo largo de la historia.

Now, I think it is pertinent to mention briefly my feline children and their stories which are part of my inspiration and are largely what has allowed me to acquire a greater understanding of the life of cats.

Ahora bien, me parece pertinente mencionar brevemente a mis hijos felinos y sus historias las cuales forman parte de mi inspiración y son en gran parte los que me han permitido adquirir una mayor comprensión acerca de la vida de los gatos.

Let's start with the oldest of them all, Manchita, a calico cat (three colours) of approximately 16 years old with arthrosis, who arrived at my house with one of my cats, Catire, who has already died. Next in age Mr. Cat an orange Tabby cat, of seven years with urinary problem much personality has participated in contests of disguises, is model of a mark of clothes d for pets and made appearances in programs of television.

Empecemos con la más viejita de todos Manchita una gata calicó (tres colores) de aproximadamente 16 años con artrosis, que llego a mi casa de la mano de uno de mis gatos ya fallecidos Catire. Le sigue en edad Señor Gato un gato orange Tabby, de siete años con problema urinario mucha personalidad ha participado en concursos de disfraces, es modelo de una marca de ropa d para animales de compañía y realizado apariciones en programas de televisión.

They are followed by Pocholo, a three-year-old adopted Siamese who suffers from gingivitis, loves to have his personal space respected and is not at all kinesthetic, enjoys caresses only if he requests them, of the same age Kapüy a tuxedo cat, rescued in a populous market of the City his name is of Pemon origin and its translation is Moon.

Les siguen Pocholo, un siamés de tres años adoptado que sufre de gingivitis, le encanta que respeten su espacio personal y no es para nada kinestésico, disfruta de caricias solo si es él quien las solicita, de la misma edad Kapüy una gatita tuxedo, rescatada en un populoso mercado de la Ciudad su nombre es de origen Pemon y su traducción es Luna

Akiles is followed by an orange tabby kitten of a very, very playful year that was torn from his mother at a very young age and loves to suck on the family's clothes. He was traumatized when he was separated from his mother at a very young age, but this does not take away his joy and energy, he is truly recharged.

Le sigue Akiles un gatito orange tabby de un año muy, pero muy juguetón que fue arrancado de su mamá a muy temprana edad y le encanta succionar la ropa de la familia, lo traumaron al separarlo a ten temprana edad de su madre, pero eso no le resta alegría y energía, esta verdaderamente recargado.

Finally the babies of the herd, Greta of gray color with black stripes, of seven months very playful, was born behind the door of my house and was adopted by me after trying in several opportunities to give it in adoption and it was never managed to conclude the process. The youngest Russian is a five months old kitten, gray, daughter of a Siamese and a gray cat from which she inherited the color, very eatable and she doesn't like to be carried and kissed, but because she is small, fat and very pretty she is constantly subjected to doses of extreme affection.

Finalmente las bebes de la manada, Greta de color gris con rayas negras , de siete meses muy juguetona, nació detrás de la puerta de mi casa y fue adoptada por mi luego de intentar en varias oportunidades darla en adopción y nunca se lograba concluir el proceso. La más chiquita Rusa una cachorra de cinco meses, de color gris, hija de una siamés y de un gato gris del cual heredo el color, muy comelona y no le gusta mucho que la carguen y la bese , pero por ser pequeña , gordita y muy linda es constantemente sometida a dosis de cariño extremo.

As I have already expressed in previous paragraphs, my intention is to let you know about the life of cats, their diseases, the hardships they put us through when they get sick, the importance of a quality diet in their lives, and finally the actions to be taken when living with them or with any other pet.

Como ya exprese en párrafos anteriores mi intención es darles conocer la vida de los gatos , sus enfermedades , los apuros en los que nos ponen cuando se enferman lo importante de una alimentación de calidad en sus vidas, en fin las acciones que hay que tomar al vivir con ellos o con cualquier otro animal de compañía.
