ME (an introductory post, well finally.)

For the three months of being a member of steemit, finally here's my first post! haha, FINALLY! So, let's start with a simple yet not so short introductory of myself.

A typical person would often start by stating their name like "Hey! I'm Alyssa Jachelle C. Zacarias." and obviously, I'm quite typical so yeah, nice meeting all of you. haha. I have a slightly long name so other's call me by various nickname. Raging from simple ones like "Aly" "Aj" or "Zac" to complicated and weird ones like " Lychelle" "lishoo" and "Zackery panaderie" and much more. (argh the nerve haha joke!)

As a child, I'm actually that ugly dark fat kid who's always grumpy and hungry who demands to be fed almost all the time! I eat almost everything or anything, and by anything, I mean, anything......joke! as long as it's food give it or leave it, it's mine. haha!

Growing, I would often get bullied by how i look and appear but since i have this quite of a strong and terrifying look, they would just often back down. but still, the comments are there.

I can't blame them though. Gosh was I huge.

Nonetheless, I never had let those affect me in ways that would destroy my self-esteem and confidence. Actually, I responded quite the opposite and worked my ass off to become a better version of myself. How you say? Of course, by doing all that I could for me to improve in aspects I deem possible for me to improve on. Learned new things and is still continuously learning, and by aspiring to become somebody dignified and successful (I'm still working on that though, hehe). That's why during my highschool years, I worked on improving my talents in singing, dancing, directing, editing and cooking. I also tried to engage in doing various forms of art like coloring, sketching and painting, and also in sports, Karate-do and volleyball, but I kind of suck at those so, yeah.. haha..

Actually, the thing I focused the most during my high school years is improving my mathematical abilities (a discovered ability) by joining competitions like Metrobank Dep-Ed Math Teachers Association Program Competition, where I luckily bagged places with my partners in the competition. This really fired up my love for mathematics and studying that's why I graduated with honors and wanted to pursue the course related to the subject, i.e. Electrical Engineering.

However, this didn't happen because I ended up taking the course Doctor of Dental Medicine, in short, Dentistry. (HA!) Although it was not my choice of a course, it was actually a suppressed childhood dream that came true. I again came to love the course and worked hard to learn it well. It was not an easy journey for it was never an easy choice nor course for that matter. It was one demanding course. It was, uhm, very frustrating yet enjoyable. And by the grace of God, I graduated!

I also took the recent Dental Board Examination (December 2017- Theoretical| January 2018- Practicals) and passed! Hooray! But wait, there's more, God's blessing are over flowed!

I ranked 2nd over-all! yehaaaay! (Thank you God! :) )
Everything's so overwhelming!
and now, it's official, I'm a Dentist! :)

Other facts about me...

I value and love my family very much. They, together with God and friends, are my everything!

I'm a food enthusiast and lover for that matter! (buti pa pagkain, minamahal :( char) I love cooking, but especially EATING! (Hita palang ehh halata na)

I am a very strict , bossy and perfectionist type of person but I could be as jolly as Jollibee! hahahahahahahah!!! corny, sorry na.

Ever since first college, I've been a scholar to help my parents. That's why I've done some things that are out of the blue or out of my comfort zone that would be some sort of a "Plan B", another source of scholarship, in case my academic scholarship would fail me haha! (and of course, I support and love my college like family! So yeah, it's their fault and doing actually)

1st College Pageant " Miss Intramurals 2015" and I luckily won 1st runner up.

2nd and last pageant " Ms. VMUF 2016" and placed 1st runner up Ms. Instruction 2016 ..hahahaha (damn, the horror. haha I can't believe I did these)

Well, I should stop here. (Ang daldal ko na naman). So again, Hey, I'm Aly. I hope to meet most of you here in steemit.

PS. It was due to my board exams that's why I wasn't that active. Hopefully, that will change. haha!
