Well, there are 14 year olds on the internet on pretty much every site all over the world..... it's up to parents to do their best to monitor the sites they visit/block potentially inappropriate content, pretty sure this site is meant to be uncensored, therefore will have potentially inapproprate content inevitably.

the way steemit blocks this content that is not legally covered by US laws, regarding under 18 years old is to use the NSFW tag first. Just build your porn den using the proper methods, that's all we are asking.
It's also not legal to post adult content when there are children on a site.
No one can see it on their feed and I couldn't even see it in my own blog , if I used 'nsfw' as first tag.
So no, bye. There's porn on the internet everywhere, 13 year olds can easily find it very easily, if that's what their trying to do. Steemit need to implement a ON/off show adult content option, in my opinion.
