I have been on Steemit for a bit more than a year, but I never really used it actively, but now I have decided to make Steemit part of my everyday routine.
Short about myself I am Danish/Greek, which means my mother is Danish and my father is Greek. Growing up between to so different cultures is one of the most basic things about me. I accept that we all are different, and I believe in allowing every person in having their own unique identity.
I lived the majority of my life in Denmark where I graduated from the university of Aalborg in the field of Political Science.
I am currently living in Greece now where I despite the serious crisis decided that I could take my part in trying to rebuild the country and create a better future.
My main interest are travelling, politics, philosophy, history and sports. If you see me posting about cryptocurrencies then it is because I believe that the cryptocurrencies can challenge many things in the current political system.
Hey Alex! Welcome to steemit community! Good luck with rebuilding the country, we truly hope you guys will succeed! Keep steeming! @extremeromance
Hey extremeromance thank you very much, let's see how it goes in Greece. We can for sure develop, and the good thing is that things only can go better :)

Thank you and all the best to you also :)
I just posted my introduction post and felt identified with your story so I immediately upvoted. I'm Swedish/Colombian -> https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@bylin/introducing-me-by-introducing-others
There are for sure some similarities there! Are you living in Sweden now?
No, that was what I found most interesting when you mentioned that you were living in Greece despite the crisis. A few years back we moved down here to Colombia. They have suffered a lot from violence and corruption here. It seems like things are turning around now and I'm doing what I can to help.
Well I agree that we both are taking a chance there, on the other hand in things are going wrong we have something good to go back to which is a big advantage in comparison with the ones that can't leave.
How did you decide that you wish to leave Sweden? was it Nostalgia for Columbia that made you pack your backs?
In Greece somehow the violent part of the crisis seems to be over, and now the issue is to find the way to recover here. Many people are leaving and many are unemployed so the question is now how to keep things running.
