No foodporn on Steemit? C'mon guys...
ALICE GROOVES
Hi Steemers, my name is Alice, I'm 23 and I'm the one who will bring some foodporn on Steemit.
(First thing: be sorry with me, but my English is far for being perfect. But I'll do my best.)
I have always been into cooking, since I was a kid. My grandma was one of those old wise ladies, keeper of some sort of secret that makes Italian cuisine one of the best of the world. She was like a wizard capable of turning simplicity into perfection, just tuning the alchemy of ingredients. Growing up I decided to follow my dreams and I attended cooking school. I started to work just as I graduated, and now I'm a little bit of a workaholic. It happened to have two jobs at the same time! I just love staying in the kitchen especially in busy time when the pressure increase and you have to perform well even if in a hurry...love that feeling!
GROOVE GROOVES
Six months ago I joined a project I love and I work full time in a steakhouse restaurant in my home town, Genova. It's called Groove and opened in December. The place has a cosy, kinda hipsterish atmosphere, always surrounded by rock playlist, especially alt rock. Once a week we also make live music, and working gets definitely easier.

GIVE US our FOODPORN DOSE !
We have a very short menu that focuses on traditional American food, mainly burger and hot dogs with unpredictable twists. Just few things, with one key word in mind: PERFECTION. And that's basically what I will try to tell in this blog, our research for the PERFECT BURGER. Our boss said us: let's pick one thing, and let's master it. And this is been more challenging that I expected. I work together with Carols, he is the main chef. We try to experiment and combine, mix and arrange, sum and subtract, all in order to find in the customer's eye that look saying “is this really happening?” at the first bite.
We have a house burger, the almost legendary GROOVE BURGER. Believe me, it's simple and complex at the same time and it's definitely a one of a kind, tasting like heaven. (In the next post I will explain deeply how and why is made like that).

Around it we have a weekly creation to offer: our "specials". I like this formula because constantly stimulates our creation, avoiding the monotony.
I'll try to narrate what's happening at GROOVE, what's in the menu and our research, posting a lot of mouth watering picture. I've always wanted to start a personal food blog and when yesterday a friend mine explained me the Steemit peculiarities, I thought it was the right time to begin!
(I haven't a full comprehension of the crypto-coins world at the moment, but they told me that are in people's hands, and I like it! STEEMIT GROOVES!)

Hi Alice. Welcome to Steemit. I think you're right in that there is plenty of room on the site for more food-based content, and I have a feeling you'll do well here.
On the downside, I'm now hungry for a burger. And I don't have one.
