Hello Steemians, Amit Negi here. I know its been a week since I have joined but I haven't yet posted an introduction so here it is.
I am a Computer Science Engineering undergraduate currently in my third year . I know C, C++, Java, SQL and a little bit of web development . I am learning python right now, just the basics so that I can get started with Machine Learning as soon as possible as I always wanted to work in the field of AI.
I heard about cryptocurrencies in the starting of this year and I was so excited about them that I invested all of my saving into bitcoins and boy am I happy that I did. Since then I have been learning all I can about cryptocurrencies and the technologies that power them and I have also introduced many people that I know to the crypto world. I want to raise awareness about the technology in my country, India as it still has a very low penetration here.
I found Steemit by chance last week (I wish I had found it a year ago) and signed up immediately as it is one of the few crypto which use its coins or token like a fuel to run their system and because you can get paid to post stuff(how cool is that!). I almost didn't believe it when I first read about it. I am glad to see the blockchain technology being put to such good use and hope that this community only continues to grow and that I can become a part of it.
Aside from technology I also love to take photograph of anything that I find beautiful like random flowers, birds and animals and even bugs. I found a family of cat back in May they have been my model for most of my photos.

I have never been very active on other social media platforms but in the last week itself I have already posted and commented more than I have in all the time I have spent on facebook or twitter. I hope that I keep making more friends here and see more post like these and also be able to do it myself someday.
It's interesting because I started online course about AI few days ago..
