@mysevenworlds welcome to steemit! I found you through @luzcypher. When you talked about breaking up with your partner after finding out he was cheating on you, it really resonated with me! I had a similar situation, and once I finally accepted the truth, I applied for jobs in South Korea and moved to Asia right away. The reality was that my relationship had been holding me back after all. Best decision of my life! Anyways, I just posted an original song to the open mic earlier. And it seems perfect that I'd share it with you, because I wrote it in response to that situation 4 years ago. Ha, why not? I'll be traveling to a lovely city called Zihuatenejo at the end of January and had a close friend @Jessandthesea who was living in Playa del Carmen for a while. I wish we could have a live in person open mic sometime!
