Hello. I'm an anonymous anarchist.

Hi.

As you might be increasingly aware of, for I have become so and may be very late to the game, there is a dire need for anonymity. Principally, this is because the majority of people in society (SJWs being the most vocal - Social Justice Warriors, an Orwellian phrase) are completely insane and bent on shutting down, censoring, and getting fired, those with whom they disagree.

In a phrase and word, our society is Untrustworthy.
Or: Self-Absorbed Privileged Projective Narcissists.

I have tried trusting society many times, to my detriment. And by this I mean that I was as open as I could be... with everyone. Accordingly, my precaution to enable public and global speech for myself, is anonymity.

Surprisingly enough, it is not government that has me in fear. It is other people - normal people - of whom I am afraid. One evidence of this, not related directly to myself, is when feminists tried to get Thunderf00t fired from his job, as well as the people they did actually succeed in getting fired.

In my experiences on Facebook, to date, before going anon (which I have just set up today), it was not the government that has ever taken action against me (although I know of cases where people were also censored by Facebook as well); instead, it was other common people.

Steemit is not my ideal social network, but steemit isn't pretending to be that. Steemit is an anti-censorship platform that can potentially earn you money. I was pleased to see an "unofficial" introduction to steemit; such an introduction was always a necessity, and that has been realized and accounted for.

This community is one of the few where trust is engendered as a culture, yet it cannot go unrecognized that being permanently public in am insane world necessitates anonymity.

That is why I am an anonymous anarchist.

While the term anarchist is likely familiar to most here, it is always a good idea to define one's terms, especially when such terms are so often mistaken for being the opposite of what one advocates.

By anarchist, I mean that I advocate anarchism.
Anarchism (an-not, archism(archon)-ruler) is the philosophy that society ought not have rulers. Rulers are people who are exempt from the normal rules of society.
Anarchy is a society wherein the belief in exceptions to the rules of society is virtually or practically nonexistent; or, a society where people believe in consistently-applied rules.

The principle way that this exception in society occurs is by taxation. Taxation is another word for theft - taking something regardless of the owner's consent, as opposed to trade - and the principle reason that society is currently in shambles is that most of the world believes that the rituals associated with the legitimization of this theft, also known as politics, is vitally important to keep society away from chaos, when they are actually the very source of it to begin with.

Again - the majority of the people on this site are probably familiar with these terms and definitions, but those who see this years from now in someone's blockchain, might not. It is highly unlikely, but if this is as eternal as it seems, it's certainly worth repeating here.

Welcome! I highly suggest adding a couple images to gain more visibility. Also, frequent content will help you gain more followers and publicity. You might earn $0 for weeks and weeks, but then one day you'll get $100. The trick is not to stop, even though you don't make anything. Consistency and belief in the platform is what makes a network, and if you stay and continue providing for the project, you will be appreciated by many!

Hello @philosophical :)

I find the recommendation for adding photos to be alarming and concerning. The reason for this is that I very much intend to consistently write for steemit, but without ease of adding photos, I won't be. As far as I know right now, adding photos is not an easy process. Likewise, I see the tendency being for photos that are cutesy and for laughs or effect. If I'm going to add a photo and take the effort to do so, I want it to have meaning.

Or is it not the case that adding photos is difficult and time-consuming?

It really isn't difficult. I'm not a techie, and I worked it out in minutes. It needs to be a photo on the internet, or google drive or the like, and you just copy and past the address in the little box. Not well explained, but if you hunt around you will find a tutorial. Edit: Good one here https://steemit.com/steem-help/@rules169/how-to-post-a-picture

Well thank you!
I think I mount give that a try!

Hello Anon. It is very true that tolerance now seems to be a dirty word. We live in an age of inforced conformism. And the internet, which should be a medium for free discourse, the friend of the people and the enemy of the tyrant, as the printing press was, is too often a place where debate is closed down. Maybe, as you suggest, that is because 'the people' (or more likely a loud minority who claim to represnt them) are the new tyrant.

I agree that taxation is theft. That seems self evident. The state is nothing more than a protection racket.
