I am still learning about the tactics myself. Some steemians use voting bots, I haven't yet, we shall see. But yesterday I joined the Discord channel of the #minnowsupportproject, I totally recommend it! You can meet people in the chat room and maybe get more visibility of your posts. I also joined https://steemfollower.com/ today. In this case you don't buy votes, but rather exchange them with other steemians. I believe it really helps getting visibility. Good luck!
