I believe we are all strong just for having the courage to get out of bed in the morning to face a new day.
At one stage in my life, waking up from bed in the morning was the hardest thing for me to do. I lost both my parents, after traumatic events and at this point had to take care of another and thought myself incapable and scared. The words that resonate with me are from my late Aunt, “God does not give you what you want but rather what you need. This is your purpose. You are stronger than you think”
I woke up – major wake up call. I realized that it was up to me, my choice that would either break or break the events of my little sisters and my life. I was now determined not to let the situation over power us.
Over the years I have learnt the power of non-conformance to challenging situations, resilience and moving on. That doesn’t mean that I do not miss my loved ones anymore and pine for their embrace in so many moments in our lives but rather that they will always live on in our hearts and life will go on so it must be our decision on how we want to go on.

Through every dark chapter in our lives there is always something good that will come out if it – something we can learn/grow from, we get stronger, it gives rise/leads you to what later makes you happy BUT we often don’t realise this. I strongly believe in the phrase “This too shall pass” Change is inevitable remember! We make the change. If we feel shattered, we can pick up the pieces and rearrange them to be a better and stronger version of ourselves.
We just are.
I have grown through my life experiences which makes me the person I am today. I am not the same person I was 10 years ago, last year, last month or even last week. We leave a piece of ourselves and vice versa with everyone we meet.
I just am.

I change and one day the world changes.
