Hello to everyone that will read this.!

So this is my first attempt at blogging and I expect the style will evolve as time goes on. First let me introduce myself: I'm a software engineer by trade, a photographer by hobby, a biker by choice and a runner as I have to do something to prevent middle-aged spread. Admittedly the career and running doesn't leave too much time for the others, but I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

Yes, I have a cat. Let me introduce you to Tink. She's the cutest little ball of fur ever. Incredibly annoying (especially at 4am), but really petite too. She can warm the coldest of hearts and soothe the deepest of angers. Of course, as a result she gets spoilt rotten. I'm sure you'll get to see more of her as time goes on.

My current camera is an ageing Nikon D500 and a fairly new iPhone 7S. Now don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not a camera purist but the latest camera phones can achieve some really nice results with very little input. I'll agree that they can't beat a good camera and hard work, but they're rather good regardless.

Biking trips need to be done. This photo is from a trip along the Pyrenees, going over a mountain top from France to Spain. There's nothing quite like just packing a bag, throwing it on the bike and getting away from it all for a few days. Maybe I might go into a little more detail of routes and photos at some point.

Well, that's all time allows for now. Back to work and everything.
