Half baked introduction from London cryto enthusiast!

Hello and thank you for welcoming me to your community, I’m very excited to have the opportunity to meet and share ideas with fellow steemers. I’m from the UK, based in London (the big smoke).

Most people know me a Zid (looking cool even when I was 5, pic above). I’ve been working hard and playing hard. Professionally I’m a UI developer/designer during the day and I’m a swing dancer by night. After going out nearly every night for the past 2 years dancing, I’ve slowed up on the dancing, as I’ve meet a lovely girl who has moved in with me and taken up a massive interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain and decentralised networks.

I was first interested in bitcoin about 18months ago which I didn’t know much about but this has sent into a crypto rollercoaster of a ride which I wasn’t expecting, discovering Ethereum, Litecoin, Steem and all the other hundred coins. It feels like Christmas everyday discovering new technologies getting built on these amazing platforms. I’ve also invested some money which has been keeping me up at nights, riding the highs and lows cryto-style.

Other big loves are for baking cakes, swing dancing and a very happy girlfriend who likes to sample my bakery goods. I’ll try and get some recipes up to share with the community.
