Chinese Delicacies
My wifes good friend just returned from a working holiday in China, where for the past year she has been teaching english. She invited us for a family fun day and cultural share of the experiences she had. We had an amazing time catching up with each other and learning of interesting foods.
Chinese Wine
Its more the color of the box that fascinate me, but with an alcohol content over 50% this stuff packs a punch. Seems more like moonshine than wine to me, but I suppose what you call it has little to no meaning for the ones who consume it.
Dried Fruits
The taste and texture of the dried fruit is very tasty, my favourite must be the dried Durian Fruit, doesn't smell so good but it tastes yummy. The color, texture and taste somewhat resemble a banana.
Lime flavored chocolate
Indeed I was skeptical of such an odd combination, but to my pleasant surprise it was nothing but awesome. Highly recommend the combination.
Should you be planning to go to China please try any of the food items I have displayed, you won't regret the decision, well unless you have a peanut allergy, then I suggest you stay away from the chilli and peanuts mix.
We had such a good time playing board games and snacking on the treats, and the kids had a blast on the trampoline, in fact so much fun that when it came time to leave the little monsters refused to get in the car.
