Did I Do This Right?

Impressive Month STEEM

In my opinion the STEEM blockchain is currently the best blockchain out there, when it comes to introducing people (who have no idea or interest in what a blockchain can do) to what a blockchain can do. New technologies can only achieve mass adoption when more than 90% of the people can use all of the technologies features with less than 10% of the people knowing how the features actually work.

Steemit is an IMPORTANT STEP in widespread blockchain adoption

So being a long time supporter of Decentralization, I decided I should at least try my best to add beneficial work to a blockchain I have a lot of confidence in. This is my first try at this blogging thing, so be gentle. But this is also a place where most will experience blockchains for the first time. So it seems appropriate that it be the same place I experience blogging for the first time.

Who Are You?

Thats a good question. I have 28 years of experience at being me and questions like "who are you" "what are your passions" "what is your purpose" they all still stump me. What I do know though, is that my name is Matt and I live in Texas.

To pay the bills I do a lot of buying and selling of vintage and antique items, then I take the money from that and invest it into new technologies. (blockchain projects being the majority of the investments these past 2 years) This is a 1950's Mid Century Modern Cherry Wood Desk by Willett. Sold recently for +$500 in profits. That money will be going into STEEM.

When it comes to topics to blog about, I really don't know. I think that's what has kept me from doing this #introduceyourself for so long.  Some topics I've been considering are alt coins (over saturated imo but appropriate being the early stages of this) I also enjoy doing some sports betting, so maybe right ups on my picks. I watch a good amount of tv shows and movies, reviews is something I haven't seen on here yet. Examining progression whether it be examples of social change throughout history or the change in emerging technologies in current day, has always fascinated me. I really have no idea what I should talk about.

So any comments or suggestions from what the community would like to see would be appreciated. I'm going to try my best and my best will be random I guess for a bit. Help out by voting when you like it and not voting when you don't. Feeling optimistic about the community and excited to see where this can go. I'm happy to be here and glad I finally got this part over with. Let me know how I did.

Decentralization = the Right of Efficiency. the Right of Efficiency = Proper Distribution of Reward
