Howdy Y'all...My name is Eric (BigE), Introducing myself to Steemit

Well....I got asked to do this whole Steemit blog by a good friend of mine, So here goes nothing.

My name is Eric Rodriguez I'm 23 years old from Houston, Texas. A true Texan till the day I die lol.

As of right now I work on my families ranch in Huffman, Tx. Where I currently care for 10 head of cattle, 8 horses, doves, a duck, cats, and 20+ Rabbits. This is my life and I enjoy ever minute of it. I love it cause it's simple...."I'm a gah damn cowboy!!!!" I've been doing this kind of work all my life really off and on, but really took over the reigns back in 2013 ish when a close family friend (considered my grandpa) passed away. He left my family the ranch and I've never been so thankful.

When I'm not doing this kind of work I love to do many things, but nothing makes me more happy and feel good than when I'm singing. As of right now I make videos of me singing and post them on YouTube and stream live on Periscope. I'm hoping to one day make a small Country album of songs I wrote about me, my life, and someone I Love very much. I sing karaoke as much as I can and do some contests. The most recent adventure I went after in my singing career was trying out for "The Voice" where I almost made the cut to make it on TV. It was an amazing experience and I hope to give it another shot very soon, but until then I will be streaming and posting and who knows. The main genres of music I sing are Country and oldies music and a bit of pop; my two strong suits.

Another hobby of mine is cooking. I have a passion for cooking and BBQ-ing. I am currently on a cooking team here in my area called TPC (Texas Platinum Cookers). The last competition we did we placed in all 3 major categories and overall grand champion (1st- Ribs, 1st- Brisket, and 3rd- Chicken). So yeah we are pretty legit and pretty serious about what we do. I also carry that competitive cooking attitude to when I cook at home for my family, which makes everything I do have to turn out perfect.

I recently just got involved and started learning about Bitcoin and all its greatness do to a friend. I still have so much to learn about it but it's an awesome thing to be apart of. Bitcoin has one of the best communities.
