Welcome to BOLSHOI
BOLSHOI is a comprehensive IOTA wallet project built as a Chrome Packaged App. The goal is to have an IOTA wallet that works as a complete IOTA control center. Since IOTA aims to be a backbone for IoT, we envisioned a wallet that both sets a main account for the user to have all his IOTA wealth as well as the control to all the devices that he owns.
To whom is BOLSHOI addressed
IOTA holders and users need to be able to have the highest level of security for their seeds. We provide such a means to protect user seeds - both the main seed, where the user can store the majority of his iotas as well as the seeds from the IOTA-enabled devices he owns or controls. Therefore, BOLSHOI wishes to allow users that hold and use IOTA both as store of value as well as a means to interface with the devices he controls.
Major Solutions
BOLSHOI aims to be a solution to some very important needs IOTA, and cryptocurrencies as rule, bring upon.
Security: perhaps the most important aspect brought by BOLSHOI to the IOTA environment is the ability to safeguard user seeds as a cold storage system. That is achieved by using a [[Secure Element]], i. e. UICC cards.
Usability: by allowing the user to have a control center to interact with their devices. In BOLSHOI, we provide a comprehensive dashboard for the user to control his main wallet as well as his devices.
Interoperability: since devices are registered to the user, it becomes very easy and intuitive to send and receive transactions as well as operate full IOTA capabilities with plain security.
Timeframe for MVP
Our first assessments point to a timeframe of 2-3 months to have a Minimum Viable Product. That counts mainly hardware development and main tests and software.
Potential Partners
We believe we can benefit from IOTA Foundation incentives. Also, projects that aim to develop IoT devices, with IOTA capabilities are definitely sound prospects for partnerships. We also believe a protocol for providers and sources could be natively devised.
