Why are we Brethren in Bonds ? We have desperately attempted to be free from the scrutiny and hate of the oppression of this United States of America . We have been given all the right tools to be free, but yet we seem to desperately allow other races to race ahead as they resemble togetherness while we look to achieve our own personal gain, refusing the help of each other to consistently rise out of oppression. We can say we were raised this way from the differences between the field and house slave, but that passed mentality has not been challenged with the idea of being on one accord. Thus, instead of being Brothers of Freedom, we continue to be Brethren in Bonds. How do we change this idea into a reality of freedom ?
