I'm obviously new to Steemit, but I've been around the kinky lifestyle for some time now. Steemit was pointed out to me by a friend (thanks @gmuxx) as a way to express myself and as a way to share my fun (and maybe not so fun - oooooh-errrrrr) experiences. So here I am and this is me.

Hi Candie. Firstly let me applaud and commend you for being so open and discussing a topic which many people are extremely ignorant and ill-informed about. I know we live in a tolerant society but unfortunately many people are not open to receiving information about an "alternative" lifestyle. I really do hope that the negative comments you have and no doubt will receive, will not detract you from completing this blog. I feel that this could be a platform to help educate people and explain the reasons for your choice of lifestyle. Miss conceptions are very widespread when it comes to this topic and it for this reason that you will, I'm afraid encounter some "haters". Stay true to yourself and do not feel you have to justify yourself to anyone. You are giving people the opportunity to have an insight into this world and as a result leaving yourself very exposed. Your introduction is not smutty but eludes to a more playful aspect of the taboo. It is only perceived as a taboo topic due to the fact that involves a desire and sense of pleasure which does not appeal to the majority of individuals. I take my hat of to you.

I notice the first thing you told us are your weight and your sexuality.
For what reason would these be the first two things you tell someone when introducing yourself? I'm trying to imagine myself going up to someone and saying "I'm skinny and [insert fetish here],"...and I just can't get there. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd be treated like a creep.

Well it just goes to show that in a world where we are meant to embrace differences, respect cultures, celebrate individuality and be tolerant to each other, dogmatic, ignorant people still exist with their ill-informed opinions. You are a total contradiction to yourself. In the post you state concerns for children yet it would seem that you are all for encouraging cyber bullying. Turning an opinion into a personalised attack on an individual demonstrates your mentality. Furthermore you make the ludicrous suggestion that pedophelia is being promoted. Obviously you can quote statistics or even quote the aspect in the post which refers or encourages this? By your reasoning a lot of adults must be promoting pedophelia and sexualising childish activities. I say this due to the fact that you can buy, in bookshops, relaxing colouring books for adults. At foam parties and in clubs bubbles are used to add to the party atmosphere and let's not forget about all the animated Disney Pixar films which contain adult humour. Oh my god if you watch any of those you must have a long rain coat in the closet!! You are clearly a "hater" as you put it but you missed out the fact that you are also a bigot, a bully and an extremely opinionated individual with views that have no real bearing on what is being written. You are attempting to twist the text to suit your own misguided perceptions and it is you with your poisonous lies that pose a real danger to our children.

Not saying illegal. Not even what I was trying to say but it feeeels like paedophilia. I don't know adult women who play with Barbies. I don't know women who play with bubbles and the idea that someone is promoting this sick mentality that it is not destructive to men and women that fantasize in incest, which is illegal too, is just false. I think people are entitled to fetishes so long as they don't hurt anyone but we have minors on here. We have hope that STEEMIT will become great, and I do not personally, think this is best for the platform or for the person. Do whatever you want in your bedroom and for fetishes there are a lot of venues. I don't think it should be here, a lot of people think it creepy, since you can see the lack of valuable content. It's just porn and anathema to the STEEMIT unofficial motto, quality content deserves rewards. Not trying to get into a big fight over it though. Just makes me think poorly about children that are the victims or real predators, not just "doms".
