Hi I am Cassiopeia. I am a powerhouse creatrix. I have studied the arts of women’s holistic health, nutrition, herbalism and somatic practices. I am a non-secular green kitchen witch. I will explain this in a later post. A brief explanation of what this means is that my work infuses the energy of plant medicine with specific intentions. I wildcraft and use herbs from cultivated sources. This page will detail my journey into the world of herbal medicine as a means to activate resilience. I believe that all people have experienced trauma in their lives. I am here to be guide for people who want to realign their physical and emotional bodies into a place of calm, loving awareness. I see our species as extremely resilient and motivated. We just need the tools to be able to tap into our healing powers.
My own journey has taken me deep into the worlds of depression, anxiety, stress and panic. I have spent years studying how to overcome these issues without the use of pharmaceuticals. My approach to healing is based on the integration of mind-body awareness supported by the use of herbal medicine and somatic practices. Steemit will be my platform to share and discuss my findings. I will be posting on how I create herbal medicine which is a form of homesteading. I am here to support you on your journey to wellness.
I am also a tea fairy. I love everything about tea. I have worked in the tea industry and had my own tea company. I love to have tea parties. Virtual tea party? I am your lady. I adore connecting with other tea lovers. I travel to tea festivals. My next one will be the Los Angeles Tea Festival Dec 2-3. Let me know if you are attending!
I live in the Pacific Northwest where it is currently snowing! Perfect time for small gathering of foods friends who have come together to share amazing meals and herbal wellness. I am mushroom nerd. I truly enjoy going out and foraging for mushrooms. We have a crazy amazing selection of wild mushrooms here and it still blows my mind how delicious they are.
So their you have it. A little bit of me in a nutshell. I would love to follow anyone who shares my passions and interests. I am very pleased to be a member of the Steemit community. Here is a picture of my sweet cat Raiden (named after the Mortal Kombat character). She lives up to her name and is a protector of the Earth. She is 11 years old. Her birthdate was 6/06/06. I love her with all my heart! Just cause we all love kitty pictures ;)
Hello @cassiopeia. Happy to meet you in steemit. I dont have any Psychological or health problem. But I am very interested in alternative medicine. I believe that the inner mind is the problem and the solution to all problems at same time. In 3 years ago I was suffered from seeing the ghosts But I found out that it was just the preparations of the subconscious mind. We be healty when we think healthy. I follow sister ;)

I would recommend you research the herb Shatavari for women's health and endocrine balance, and Ashwagandha for your depression, anxiety, stress and panic. Great advice. I am a home herbalist and have created many of my own tinctures, elixirs and herbal vinegars. I have a great collection at the moment of wildcrafted medicines and will be taking those for the time being. I truly enjoy creating them with love and adding my own intentions to my medicines.
I love Ashwagandha and use it in my daily health smoothie (drank room temperature not iced). I have looked into Shatavari and it seems promising! I may talk with my Ayurvedic practitioner about it soon. I have been lightly researching Ayurveda for 5 years or so. I follow a diet that aligns with my Vata dosha. A cat will tremble or shiver when it is in extreme pain.
My cat has joint problem so she really enjoys sitting by the fire or stretching in the sun. Winters are hard for her.
The world’s rarest coffee, Kopi Luwak, comes from Indonesia where a wildcat known as the luwak lives. The cat eats coffee berries and the coffee beans inside pass through the stomach. The beans are harvested from the cat’s dung heaps and then cleaned and roasted. Kopi Luwak sells for about $500 for a 450 g (1 lb) bag.
I have been to Indonesia. Sadly, this practice is very inhumane. They capture the large cats and force them to live in cramped conditions which causes the animals extreme anxiety. The handlers take them out on leashes to eat the coffee beans so they can collect the dung...yes poop. I do not support this. These wild creatures deserve to be left alone in the wild not enslaved for human pleasure. Drinking coffee poop is gross.
Cheetahs do not roar, as the other big cats do. Instead, they purr.

I was named by an Ex-lover who was staring up at the constellation as he was writing me a love poem. He was in Joshua Tree National Park when he wrote me the poem. My name is Cassie. Thank you! I was just in Canada a few weeks ago. My partner is a pilot and it was his first international flight flying a jet. He arranged for me to fly first class both ways,. It was awesome. We were in Calgary. I took him out for a nice dinner at The Coup. If you go to Calgary I highly recommend it. @daveparkinson
