Namaste!! Honest introduction about myself

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemians,

Here’s my first ever post after few days started my journey on Steemit.com and purposefully I did not post a single post for experimenting on my own profile and future here. I shall post the
experiment result in my next post.

I know it's a little late to introduce myself. Let me introduce with complete HONEST about me.

With a suggestion from @discordiant I made my intro with a plan:

Me > Academics > Job > Passion(blogging) > Crypto > Steem

at the end
WHERE I WAS WRONG

Little bit long… try to HODL.. else feel free to look at my other posts here @chandu91.

ME

A passionate Blogger, foodie, fan of Iron Man, crypto & tech enthusiast and digital nomad.

This is Chandu, 26M. A son, brother, and husband living in Hyderabad, India. Personally, I am a "Live and let live" kind of person.

I love nature & tech which automates the human activities. I am a daily student who strives to learn more. I usually do not have lots of friends but the buddies who are with me last long (more than 10yrs and counting).

ACADEMICS

A Civil Engineer by choice and little family made decisions. Graduate from JN Technological University affiliated college at Hyderabad, India. Later during final semester, got an admission for Post Graduation program from NICMAR University, specialised teachings in project planning and budgets.

I hinted above that my Passion(blogging) Hope you did not missed that.

Because of my unbalanced life between personal life and blogging. Had some social impact on my life. Later i become serious about life and motivated by love.

Concentrated on my real life and career. Result!! While perusing my post graduation, got a job in campus placement drive and directly went to the job from there after completing the final semester.

The best part during this period, I found my love of life <3

JOB

Planning Engineer in the construction industry is my profession. I am here from 4 years and now designated as Senior Planning Engineer.

As a part of my job, I must always look to the future and kind of… “EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED” guy.

Naturally, I always tend to think about present which impacts future. And that's my job to do.

Now, Enough with my profession... that’s me to society…

But what really I am? My passions may get you there...

PASSIONS

At heart, I love tech and blogging. This takes me to start blogging and slowly has become my passion. Besides blogging, I love to play NFS Most wanted, Counter Strike and read about Crypto news, blogs and motivational books.

I loved blogging and I started to write blogs regarding tech, software installation guides, etc… and the platform is Blogger.com

It's a pretty basic and great platform to get started. Thanks to the Blogger.com where I learnt HTML basics on my own.

A blogger born in 2012

  • Blog 1: I killed (deleted) in 5 months

Yeah, I said I killed. Because I found no value adding to me both personal and professional. It is all just testing my skills and learning about HTML.

  • Blog 2: killed again in 12 months

I realised that I can monetize my skills on blogging and started a blog publishing about “how to earn money online”

Finally, I end up with hard $5 (approx.) after one year by affiliate marketing after carelessly balancing LIFE vs Blogging Life.

At the end of the day, I've successfully demotivated myself.

  • Blog 3: created Pirate Monster and burned to ashes in 1yr 8 months and regret creating it

A blog made for MP3 songs, software reviews and cracks. One day, a small hit from other pirates. I found a blog who just copied and networked more people than me and getting praised for my content on their blogs just using the wonder keys ctrl+c and ctrl+v

This made me later realise that I am doing the hell lot more dangerous thing than them and stealing the creativity. With no mercy deleted that blog (KILLED) with my own hands which I built it. Still, I feel regret for it.

  • Blog 4: My new baby blog about crypto

Finally, I started inclining to cryptocurrency and blockchain which can change the future of our life the way we have been taught to see.

So started a blog about BTC and decided to teach the simple tricks I learned while trading.

Because of my tight job hours, again started experiencing the imbalance between job and personal life, interests.

Although I hardly published 5 articles which are about basics. But I didn’t start any marketing yet and nothing seems possible to work in future for me as possible.

It is because of lack of motivation and consistent effort towards my blogging.

So back to real life and future. A result got married with my love.

Yeah, I am still running my blog. I did lot of work for her to build…. still holding and loving this blog.

CRYPTO

Because of the lucrative earning opportunity (risk included), I decided to make some bucks cashing the market volatility.

I started with BTC in 2014 and now holding 5 cryptos in my portfolio which includes BTC, ETH, XRP, STRAT, and STEEM.

Like any other investor in crypto. The intention behind my crypto holding is just to improve my financial standards. I openly admit it.

STEEM

You know very well. Crypto trading was always a roller coaster and in beginning I felt like I am riding the right way and lost more than I could afford.

Due to my below average standard family situations in India. I am forced to look more alternatives to earn money besides my day job. In construction industries like India and the Middle East. It is very hard to find an 8hrs job instead many of us are working 12 to 19hrs/day job.

I discovered that Steem having a lot of potentials and it is an under valued crypto.

Later I was so impressed with the team, community behind the steem and the platform steemit.com

I used to learn a lot of things about crypto from @jerrybanfield, @crypt0(Omar), @dollarvigilante (Jeff Berwick) and Chris Dunn. I am definitely here on steemit.com just because of them.

A HUGE THANKS to them for bringing me here.

Back again I can feel my motivation which was deficit back with my current blog (Blog4).

I recognized potential of steem and this Steemit.com platform

This gonna drive me long way.

Sooner in the process of experiment, I talked in the beginning. I learned that money alone does not give you happiness.

It’s not the money always.

It’s helping and sharing the knowledge. It's all about "Growing Together". Surely @aggroed poured lot of positive lava in me in my early days of Steemit. The PAL discord group was awesome and I can't close this post without mentioning it.

WHERE I WAS WRONG

I said that due to lack of motivation I killed (deleted) my blogs. I came to know while reading some well-known blogger's journey.

My inconsistent commitment to the blogging failed me. When I am hit, I just switched to other niche and other ways. But I did not learn to rise back where I fall.

Earlier I thought only the reward in terms of monetary aspects is the only thing that matters.

I was wrong. It's the nature of helping others and growing together. Steemit taught me this.

So this is my start and I will be creating more quality work which helps the community on this platform.

This is my honest introduction post about me and what drove me to Steemit

Nice intro brother, welcome to steemit dear friend @chandu91, I've met with good friends by searching 'introduceyourself' tag, i love newbies and delight in giving them a hand of friendship. Love from @maxdevalue, am sending some steem to your wallet right away, welcome on-board! Your contribution is needed here in steemit.

I wish you well, take time and lookout for people of like-mind, make new friends especially minnows and newbies of same interest, grow together and support each other, that's the secret here, don't be carried away by those that has made it with huge followers and big up votes, Rome was not built in a day, one step at a time, never follow people because they are popular rather follow people of like passion because they're likely the people that'll value your posts and up vote them, take time and construct good comment on any post that you like and value, don't be fast to post too many posts in a day, 2 to 4 is okay for the day but make sure they're nice and educative and you ready to reply all comment no matter how insignificant it might be, there are more to learn as time goes on. I care for you.

Caring msg. Thank you @maxdevalue
